Gender does kind of matter with sports. I understand if you honestly feel your a woman, but you are still mechanically a man. the average woman throws significantly shorter than the average man, and indeed even the best female pros are playing at a level that appears (by PDGA rating) to be similar to "local pros" rather than their male touring counterparts.
