@IceBearKooley This is definitely the game for Jax. MK11's zoner based play style kept Jax from having and real chance of being a good character. This game is more rushdown and combo oriented which is Jax's element.
It’s because Ed Boon loves Jean Claude Van Dam and he’s in the game now. Also he loves Raiden, Scorpion and Johnny Cage and they all have easy and free combos.
I’m placed top 747 with my main Shao. And I reached Elder God with him. I wonder if I can beat this guy. I still haven’t lost to a Shao player, still waiting for the day and pay my respect to the guy who will beat me 💪 Loved this guy

You can do that same combo but only spend 1 bar instead of the three to get 421 damaged. YOU just have to add another standing kick and another of his main pop-up string. Only in the corner, though.

Yup, that is Mk has devoled to. Just spam a punch over and over with no punishment. Some characters don't have the frame to stop it and have used resources like bars, only to get back trap into that infinite lock if you mess up. In SF, you get Ryu uppercut or a Guile blade kick if you try to pull off this crap. Here, it's just punching all day.
I genuinely don't have fun playing against jhonny players, idc if it's a "skill issue" it's just not fun sitting there holding the block button for 90% of the match bc he's plus on everything. It's a charecter issue
@@billylee7398you have useable reversals in this game too. Armor costs a bar yes but you build hella meter in this game so it's not the end of the world. You also have kameo reversals and that bar is even faster, not to mention flawless block is an option. Plus most plus things are highs so even tho character options aren't necessarily universal all characters can deal with plus frames. None of this is any different from SF. The same types of interactions can and do take place on that game so basically you're misrepresenting both games here.
Tbh I feel like johny isn’t a good match up for shao… they have the same exact game plan but shao has longer ranged normals so he’s always gonna win footsies.. or is this a bad take & im missing something?
You are missing Johnny's possibilities) Plus frames of JK is very dangerous to Shao cause Shao doesn't have a solid fast mid, so you can literally beat him do death in block. If Shao has a fast mid string, yeah, probably they may be on the same list, but they not ) Also, Johnny's mixups are better, faster and safer )
The reason the people at the top don’t play shao is because he won’t win them money in the competitions. Not so say shao can’t win one but it have other characters that are just insane and are ontop of the tier list.
This Shao's defense, patience and reaction time are so insane. The backdashes and microducks are pure wizardry to me.

I feel like they would be able to do that. For example the same way Joker has a cane but he has gear pieces that are bats I think even hammers etc
