    Linkin Park "Faint" | FIRST TIME REACTION (EP151)
    Linkin Park, an iconic artist group, revolutionized the music scene with their fusion of alternative rock, nu-metal, and electronic elements. Formed in 1996, the band gained worldwide recognition with their debut album "Hybrid Theory," which propelled them to the forefront of the industry. Known for their emotionally charged lyrics, powerful vocals by the late Chester Bennington, and the seamless blending of rap verses by Mike Shinoda, Linkin Park created a distinctive sound that resonated with millions of fans. Their discography, including albums like "Meteora" and "Minutes to Midnight," showcased their evolution and artistic growth. With hits such as "In the End," "Numb," and "Crawling," Linkin Park's music touched the hearts of listeners and became anthems for a generation. Despite the tragic loss of Chester Bennington in 2017, the band's legacy continues to live on, and their impact on the music world remains unparalleled.

    I miss them. Rip Chester. They had so much more to show the world. 😭 I regret not seeing them but I was broke. I'll never forgive myself for that.

    In my opinion, they were nu-metal. No one else came close. I had the privilege of seeing them all their own festival with Chris Cornell. I witnessed Chester doing Black Hole Sun with Chris, and Chris doing Crawling with them. Goosebumps, my guys..

    The audience you see in the faint music video is actually some of their fans from their fanclub. They put out a message on the fan club Message Board saying hey fans who are in LA come to such-and-such place and you can be in our new music video. They got more fans than they thought they would get in the short amount of time that they put the message up. It is on Meteora their second Studio album. Faint is actually their fastest Tempo Beat song out of all the songs they did. In 2004 they got Jay Z rapping to the beat tempo of Faint to one of his songs on the album they did with him call Collision Course.

      @@MixItUpPodcast no but you can watch the making of Faint and that is where I learned that information at. Oh and Joe (the DJ) also co-produces their music videos and he did it for about 17 music videos.

    Guys if this ain't your first time listening to the song, please don't have the title saying that it's your first time.
    That would be much appreciated. Thank you.

    I know all the lyrics to this song 💜 I loved Linking Park as much as I love BTS today haha they still have a special place in my heart, but their music changed direction after Meteora (and I changed as well) so it just wasn't what I needed anymore :)

    My ex boyfriend listened to this type of music. I called it punk rock. It was plenty popular and I know the bands name was everywhere; just wasn't my particular cup of tea. But thanks for mixing it up! 😂

    Correct vocal fry doesn't fuck shit up. It's the drugs

    • @MixItUpPodcast
      @MixItUpPodcast  Рік тому +1

      It can have an adverse effect if done incorrectly. Smoking, drinking, and drugs have the biggest effect. However, if you are pushing farther than genetics or capabilities allow, it can wear and tear on your vocal folds. The friction eventually can wear down. Typically, overuse of singing, vocal fry, and falsetto, even if done correctly, can create vocal nodules. Unless you have healthy rests and breaks.

    • @Syzfox
      @Syzfox Рік тому +1

      @@MixItUpPodcast Yup it's all pretty safe done correctly. Though slipping on technique happens.

    • @MixItUpPodcast
      @MixItUpPodcast  Рік тому +1

      @Syz that is so true. There was a period of time when i was playing when i wasn't exactly in the best shape, and adrenaline would kick on on stage, and i would get too amped. Lose my breath too quickly, and then spend the next 40 mins trying to catch it with no breaks. It's hard to use falsetto or vocal fry when you screwed up and now dont have proper breathing. That and technique slips suck. Sometimes you just get too lost in your own moment and forget to work. Bwahaha

      @@MixItUpPodcastIt looks hard. Singers especially are often drenched after one song. Seems like they have to put effort into their fitness routine, at least once they're beyond their invincible mid 20's.
