Totally Fantastic Work there.. Not only looks the right way but both work too? You are the god of Lego Machines that look and work like the real thing. Amazing work on the model, but also excellent work with the video! Very inspiring, even though I have less and less time to get my legos out of the box. :( I'm just super curious to know the planning/creation process for such a model. How much you plan in advance? Do you have a parts repository that you use, or are you doing targeted shopping for parts you need for this model? Does your existing set of parts limit you (does not seem to be the case). ;) Either way, well done!

It's a fairly simple model. Therefore, the construction lasted only 6 months. During planning, you are limited by free space for mechanisms. Especially when you scale a real machine

Eric Trax it might be a simple model from a technical complexity point of view, but its probably the most realistic one i've seen. And i've seen a few. :) Still it puzzles me whether you do targeted parts shopping based on a theoretical design or simply use whathever collection of parts you already have. Maybe a silly question.
