- Siroco GF sired by Indiano XV111
PRE Stallion born June 29 2002 (IndianoXV111 x Tar-Sa-Sia). This stallion is self confident, assertive spectacular and super balanced . Sirocos pedigree thru his sire Indiano xv111 shows some of the purest and most admired of that line of horses who trace directly back to the pure Cartujano horses. The legacy of genetic quality of this horse will be a great addition to any breeding program. Started under saddle correctly at age 4 he is a truly well balanced horse with a great diversity of skills. You can ride him as a dressage horse in the morning and rope cattle off him in the evening. UPDATE: 2024 from Owner/Trainer: John Saint Ryan
Siroco:
He is the last horse I have from Red Rose Ranch where he was our breeding stallion. 22 years old now and a gelding so he can happily socialize with other horses and he’s fully retired due to arthritis. But enjoying his leisurely life.
Memory: Many years ago I was out checking fence on a neighbors ranch and as I was long trotting across the property Sirocco suddenly pulled up as if I’d asked him to stop………….except I hadn’t……..I got off and saw I had run into some unseen fence wire hidden in the long grass, the wire wrapped around his fetlock ……….instead of panicking, he simply pulled up and waited for me to figure out what was wrong.
It was about that time I realized the true value of roping a ranch horses feet and getting them to yield to that pressure. - John Saint Ryan May 25, 2024
