Wow. This hits so close to home. I grew up in a musical family. My dad was an amazing pianist. I loved listening to him as a child, then playing guitar and singing with him when I got older. Dad went home to be with Jesus in January of 2017. While he was in hospice, I would bring my acoustic guitar almost every day to sit with him and play/sing some of his favorite songs, including Because He Lives. I couldn't make it through "when death gives way to victory" without breaking down and crying. It was hard, but still a very sweet time. Thanks for sharing this!
There is nothing here but pure love, honor and respect for their father. I am truly a mess watching Michael's face in the end. Overwhelmed with a lifetime of love and memories is such a wonderful thing to see. Thank you Michael and Biney for sharing your father with us. It is truly an honor for me to have found this video.

Crying now!! Such compassion and reminds me of the last 3 days with my Mum. Crying Laughing Singing. Wanting her to go because of the pain she was in but also wanting her to stay because I wanted her and didn't want to lose her.. We will miss our loved ones forever even though the pain gets lighter. I still have moments when I have tears running down my face. It is so hard seeing our loved ones hurting. You are a beautiful humble and Godly person Michael English and you do have such a great gift from God. You know he gives us gifts and he doesn't take them away. He wants us to use them to benefit HIS kingdom and you are doing that. I haven't known of you for very long , it was about a year after my Mum died and God used you to wake me up. Thank you beautiful friend. I love you and your ministry and even though I won't get to meet you face to face I still feel like you are a good friend. God Bless.

Michael. I have loved and admired you 3 men every since about 1976 or so. I first saw ya'll in a small church on Hwy 211 in Aberdeen N.C. I think you were called The singing Samaritan's. I tried to always go and see you until I got a little older and got out in the old world for awhile. Anyway, when I got humble and came crawling back to Jesus later ,I soon learned that you had gone solo , won a lot of great dove awards sang with many great and wonderful people even Wynona and you too had found the old world and lost it all. Well bro I have never judged you because after all lol, who am I to judge anyone. Any way, I have seen you go thru the kind of painful things that only children of God can feel. I loved watching you come back to sing with the G.V.B. I really enjoy hearing you and Jason Crabb and family sing together. This song is a wonderful song. Sang by many ,many greats from The Billy Graham Choir all the way to Bill and Gloria there selves. But I have never, ever been touched by I like I just was.. When I saw you, Biney, and Mr. Albine sing it. I too am going to someday cross that river .. And I look forward to it more and more each day. Not because I am sad, I am excited about seeing Jesus , and so many more.Oh what a time we are going to have. You hold on brother.love ya. til we meet again.

This video is just too much! It doesn't say how old dad English is, but he's precious! Biney looks as if recovering from something himself. And Michael has been through the ringer too by now. Therefore, it's kind of obvious to see why Michael is nearly overcome with emotion! His expressions are so, so Michael English... humble, full of deep love, and even deeper devotion! Yet he still manages to control himself as only Michael English, always full of Jesus, can. ~My takeaway is what I always see from Michael English... One of the very few of this world who's been given a huge gift but still doesn't realize or take confidence in it. A man full of so much tenderness, passion, and The love and Jesus' Spirit that he's still under attack of the enemy for. My prayer is for this to be Michael's time to finally see just how precious and worthy he really is, and to run with this great gift God has given him! No matter what happens Michael, KEEP RUNNING! The Lord has required so much of you, to share your gift with the very ones He died for. As only a few have received such a gift of this magnitude, YOU STILL STAND, "Because He Lives"!
