What did you do with the old unit? How long have you had it and how much use did it get before going kaput? good job on the install.
We just threw the old unit in the garbage. It was here when we bought the house so I'm not really sure how old it was. We used it for three years but it was likely here a lot longer than that
You really have to take a look inside. i've installed a couple of cheap macerators recently that have failed a short time after installation. Internally, the hose clip holding a flexible conduit protecting internal wires had not been tightened and had fallen off, exposing the electrics to water which had blown the electrical components. Other places you'd expect to see hose clips securing hoses and conduits were held together by twisted wire! There is a reason why they are so cheap. Be very carefull
Thanks for the info and the heads up. I'll have to pop it open and check
@@Handyverse Do you know if the wowflo have certifications? was inspection a problem?
Does it hold more water in the bowl? I hate how low the water level is.
No, that aspect is the same. I'm not a fan of that low water level either. I guess it has to be that way or else the pump would continuously run
@@Handyverse that’s unfortunate I hate that also.
