- In this portion of the weapons and self defense series playlist I am doing, I will be covering the Shuriken (aka throwing stars, ninja stars) how they were used and how they could possibly be used in a self defense scenario. Much off this is just hypothetical. #shuriken #throwingstar #ninjastar #selfdefense
thank you for the video. I absolutely love how humble you are and how you add safety and your perspectives on the art. Much love brother.
Thanks so much 🙂!
I like the ColdSteel Battle Stars!
Morning buddy. I hadn't considered the danger in pulling them out of the target. I'm wondering if that's one of the reasons it has a hole in the middle. Wedge a solid stick through it, stand aside so you don't put in your own belly and pull with both hands.
These are illegal where I live, so I haven't played with them. In highschool the class thief stole all the exacto blades from the art room and soldered them into three bladed mini stars. They did fly and stick into surfaces. I'm not sure about accuracy, I was looking for cover when that kid was around.😉
🙂👊 throwing sticky stuff is fun! 😂
Yes sir it’s easy to get cut with these things
@@411Outdoors Agreed, even the chimps at the zoo throw sticky stuff 😂
Totally different topic, but one you might like. I did an experiment with a hobo stove I found on UA-cam and it works great. Cut coragated cardboard into strips no deeper than the tuna can you will put them in. Arrange them in circles getting smaller as you work towards the center. Once it's full melt and pour candle wax until the cardboard is saturated. I used the bottom of a beer can and let it float in a pot of boiling water and pliers to handle it. It kicks out a tall and consistent flame, and surprisingly very little smoke. Smother it when your finished and you can very likely use it again.👍
That was a fun video. Man, you are pumping out content! I almost can't keep up. Lol! Frequent uploads will certainly help the algorithm.
Thanks bro!😂 I am most definitely in my launch phase. Once I’m fully established I will probably pump out contact twice a week but I’ve just had so many things as of late haha! I hope to start my LLC in the next year or so
@@411Outdoors best of luck in all your endeavors!
@@BrandonSmith-sq9wg thanks brother with subscribers like yourself, I believe I will achieve what I’m shorting for. Thanks for your support! I hope I don’t wear my subscribers out. I’m gonna be hitting it hard for the next 6 months esp and will then probably taper off and do two a week unless I’m just so pumped to do another lol
Looks like you're prepared for anything!
Thanks bro😁👊 It’s a fun process
From the prospective of an edc karambit guy,I just found some bullets....practice practice practice
I believe they would also bury them in the ground vertically for someone to possibly step on. Also since you say Cold Steel is a favorite brand, I’m surprised that you haven’t shown the Battle Star. No doubt you will love them.
I’m definitely going to be getting some very soon!🙂👍
I love the video man I honestly didn't know they set fire to them I knew a little bit about the poison but that was really interesting and it makes sense that they weren't used as a primary weapon like in movies more of just a distraction for a bigger setup
Thanks so much for watching friend 🙂 very interesting stuff indeed haha. Them Bo Shurikens would hurt bad especially
@@411Outdoors yeah they definitely would and just keep doing what you're doing man you're definitely going to keep growing this is my first video I've seen of you and it was in my recommended can't wait to see more of your videos about self-defense
@@angelofpain3890 awesome 🙂👊!
How many point is just right?
4 in my opinion
Thank you.i was thinking 4 but was considering 5 for rotational purposes, might eliminate error... but I like 4 for the depth accomplished and I think it mite be a more comfortable hold and release.
@@ahilbilyredneksopinion definitely
