Gim Hong Sok | The complete freedom of not being bound by universal concepts

Over the past two decades, Gim Hong Sok has worked in a variety of forms and media to critique the ambiguous order of perception that emerges between Western modernity, as manifested in society, culture, politics, and art, and the independent resistance of non-Western nations to it. He speaks of entanglement and offers the possibility that our existing perceptions of beauty, wholeness, rightness, and definitions of humanity can be transformed by this entanglement, leading us to another world.
