It's really cool that you're reinforcing the idea to not hold on to things for nostalgia sake. We buy things to love them AND use them -- not to hoard them. I'm telling myself this same thing!
I keep telling myself this too! I buy way to much makeup, especially palettes and many I haven't touched or even swatched. I'm telling myself, don't just keep admiring their beauty, wear it, it's what you bought it for and that's just too much money to let go to waste.

Even when I’m not using product from my collection I am addicted to watching Bbw videos on UA-cam 😩 I just love that there is a whole community of us who enjoy Bbw just as much as I do 🥰😁

I totally agree girl! I’ve been building up my collection for a while and I’m close to not having anymore room so Ive been going through my products and enjoying them instead of letting them sit on a shelf, especially the scents I love, I agree with you I have to stop being scared they won’t ever bring the scent back because they always bring out new scents that I will probably equally love❤️ and why would I want my favorite scent sitting there when I could enjoy it and be smelling good all day

hell yeah! i also came to this realization lately. who cares if i use up a scent i like? there will be new, interesting ones, and i get bored reusing the same one over n over anyways, so there's really no reason for me to hang on to a scent i like
Same. I used to never want to use my products, unless I had a back-up. Then I realized how wasteful and self-limiting that felt. So starting this year at SAS, I made myself keep one cardinal rule, NO BACK-UPS of scents I already have. Last week I went thru my entire collection and gathered up the oldest products in a fabric square cube. I put it on my dresser, and that is my use-it-up stash for the entire year. I also put myself on a monthly budget. And I'm not going to stress if I go off shrinking my stash to use a newer scent for a few days.
I get overwelmed by clutter so I love using things up. I have 6 bodysprays and I already want to use up the 2 oldest ones 😁
I used to have a HUGE BBW collection that I love. I just ABSOLUTELY love BBW, but some people would kind of laugh and/or insinuate that BBW was not good or “cheap”, so I somewhat caved into that and thought, ok, maybe I’m too old for my love of BBW but I told myself this year, I want to do SAS bc it’s been 2 years, and let me tell you, I don’t regret it, bc I just love their products so much! I also love giving them as gifts and I like making a basket in the bathroom for all of my co-workers and I also have a little station set up for my students bc I’m a teacher. My students LOVE it and I love having it there for anyone to use, sometimes I let a student take an item they think their mom will love to give as a gift…it makes their day, and it’s just something I enjoy doing, so I’m a BBW girl all the way! Great content, BTW ♥️!

I get tired of scents so fast so I learned not to buy back ups 😂 If I absolutely love it, I will repurchase it, but for the most part I get tired of a scent halfway through using a set of it lol

I started project use it up! Even my kids friends know and help use any fragrance mist, perfume and lotions in the project use it up area when the come over. It is the best idea you came up with and I am loving it.

I just broke down my stash and decided to donate alot of backups and such to one of my friends who is now apart of a Non Profit Organization I always give away however this cause was definitely one I'm proud of I agree if the collection is too overwhelming you will not enjoy the purchases and picks you truly love it's too much to maintain and rotate❤👌🏾

I’m shocked on your usage of Strawberry Poundcake 😂 loved hearing your perspective on using up your products. You always inspire me to just let go of scents and truly enjoy them! I love coconut mint drop but I’m almost finished with the set. I don’t have a backup and I’m ok with that!

I also noticed my fragrance mist does last longer with the layering of the Vaseline first. Your tips are so helpful.

I've found that when I think I need backups I get bored of the scent on that second or third bottle. There is just so many new scents to smell. I don't hoard scents. I use it all. If it's gone then it's gone and I'm on to the next one 🤷♀️

It must be something in the water because I'm on the same mindset. I want to actually use my products. I am a homebody and work from home so I don't use my products as much. I like to save them for when I go out but now I've been using them while I'm at home more and continue to spray them throughout the day. It's a mood booster for sure.
The only thing I'm mad that I didn't get back ups of is Joy sugared snickerdoodle. I found out too late that it was a fav of mine as I used it...smh
Also, I don't think I'm going to buy the shower gels anymore. To me it's a waste of money when I get out of the shower and can't even smell the fragrance...smh I'm sticking to dove and tree hut scrubs 🤷🏾♀️

Hey Jasmine. I’ve been realizing I need to use up my creams. Also I need to stop buying . But I probably won’t. I’m going to try to really wait for good sales. But the other day I put on my eucerin before my scented lotion and I loved it. I also went ham spraying and layering 3 of my mists trying to use them up. Thanks for all your tips.
Makes so much sense of using creams. I stopped buying them! I boy shop now semi annuals 75% or buy if it’s under $6

I’m really curious to see how these new creams do, I haven’t had many issues with the older formula but people are saying this new one should last longer (don’t see how they would know this yet if it’s only been a couple months) but I’m just trying to use everything and rotate it out

Yes to the backup I was just holding on to scents that I love. Going forward with bath and body I'm just going back to shopping semi annual and the focus is to use my collection of stuff I have and if I don't really like them they can be gifts for someone else

Hola Jasmine. Love this mixture of scents. I am currently using A Thousand Christmas wishes shower gel too. My coworker saw it online and said this must smell good and I blind buy a three-piece set. My coworker got the lotion for this scent and in February for her birthday, I am giving her the mist.

I saw 1 lone raspberry jam donut body cream when I went to BBW today. I ended up picking up marshmallow pumpkin latte (cream, spray, and wash) and a sweet cinnamon pumpkin cream. It took all I had not to grab a bunch of Dark Kiss products (smell so good to me).

I have so many body care products and over 300 perfumes!! I love them all. I've started using a random counter app to help me use my fragrances and try to not keep reaching for the same fragrances. It's helping use my body care as well. I started January 1st and have worn fragrances and body care I probably would not have reached for without the counter choosing for me. I'm really enjoying it. I look forward to seeing which fragrance it chooses for me daily😊

Tht mindset n the begging is on point. Bc I feel a little overwhelmed with my collection and half the time I Forget about sme of them. I have sme n my storage cart then sme stored away n my bin bc I dnt have a display where I can see everything so half of my stuff jus sits until I remebr I have it. I'm deff not enjoying all of my products and I dnt. need any mre of anything . Plus I knw spring and summer scents r comn as well.
I love this video and your mindset on moving forward with your collection. I've never really been into BBW, just dabbled here and there. I had seven mists and 3 creams that matched and two lotions that didn't; I bought these in 2016/18 . How I returned to BBW was I was trying to find a scent that went with the Hempz Original scent lotion. It's very fragrant and I wanted something to compliment it. I asked a YT creator for a suggestion and I went from there. And let me say this has been a ride because I never knew this community existed. I took a deep dive into so many channels and loved every minute of it.
I went hard on the 5.50 sale and added 12 mists and creams to "create" my new collection and I did my first ever SAS sale and added seven new mists, 6 with matching creams and one I'm trying to find something to pair it with.
Do you have a recommendation what to pair with Peace? I didn't want to buy any oddball items because I like to have a pair, but I really like the bubbly mists. I ordered Winter Wonder Berry hoping to match it up and I also found a Champagne Toast cream. This is all new to me and I'm loving all this content. I'm hoping to find some videos about pairing up some lone mists and creams/lotions with others in collections or maybe what to buy to go with it, so they can be used up.
I don't plan on buying anything for a while after SAS and I'm going to use my rewards for any new scents that come out. I'm cheap, so I'm gonna wait and I'm really looking forward to summer SAS, so my goal is to use what I have.

Try Sunshine Mimosa, currently on-line. Or you could wait for the summer collections when they may bring back Raspberry Tangerine, almost a dupe for Peace Iced Raspberry Bellini. Hope that helps.

Because this is my hobby I felt like going on a no buy wouldn’t make me happy so I decided to just be more mindful of what I’m buying. I don’t need to shop every sale just because it’s a good deal, and I don’t need to buy body care that I just “like” and won’t use as often as something I love. I regularly go through my collection and give things away, so I’m going to continue doing that as well to keep everything controllable.

I love floral, fruity and musk scents. Never sure which one I ll use but I am fine with having my Library of scents. Uh Huh! Last summer I was hearing more abt skin moisturizing. Haha..years of teen life, work..often I just don't have pamper time. Trying to do the skin care layers you taught. Scents lasting longer - so happy! With SAS..I got 8 new LG mists, 3 moisturizing washes, 5 body washes. Small mists - 5 varied 1s..got Lil Fairytale bc it wasn't reduced I'm SAS- grr! Mini wash and Love mini set. Bonus of 2 sm perfumes ( ur the one, dahlia) and Open sky reg size for 11$. 2 shimmer mists-love and snowflakes and cashmere. I use all, not stressing bc they don't go bad that quickly. I ve got Bonjour Paris duo and Black duo( oud noir creamy scent). Still gorgeous! I m spraying mists way more..soak in them! AHH! DID Grab 2 Mini VS sets..Bare Vanilla( why did I skip that so long?) Have all the Bombshell Rollerballs. Mists:Tease candy, St tropez, Aqua Kiss and finally getting Velvet petals online. V sexy night cream-ooh! I love my scent library, have it grouped, also made pretty notes w the perfume notes. I can concoct possibilities- my nose "makes me". Life of a scent lover, only sad when the scents are down to the last drop. Said bye to some testers I finished. Gave dbls of scents to gf ..she was without perfume!! ciao for now Miss Jasmine..xoxo

Jasmine, have you smelled Saltwater Breeze, Love and Sunshine, or Lemon Drop Martini? Girl....they are BOMB!!! I have the sprays for all of them and the body wash for the Lemon Drop Martini. 🍋 I usually go for sweet, clean, warm or green scents. Not a big floral fan. I think you should do a vintage BBW video. I love your channel! 💜

I thought about it, but I’m comfortable with my perfumes and am not in a rush to use any of them up, I feel like since I started collecting more of them I still have been very good about using them up organically
I tend to buy stuff I know I would like for that season. I do have some other stuff I haven’t started because I bought right before it got cold or have nothing to layer it with. But I do want another back up but it’s like do I really have space for it? But most likely something else will come out or I can just use up what I have and make room for something new

How do you keep up with the perfume shelf life ? I recently started off perfumes and mists and I am already scared that everything might expire if i don't use up before the shelf life ..should we not consider the shelf life they come with or just go with the expiry date ? 😭

Shelf life timelines are for marketing, can you imagine how much waste we would have if we LITERALLY threw everything out in a 3-6 month shelf life, that’s not even bad!!?? Throw things out as necessary, If it’s not performing the same, changed color or texture, smells bad and looks off

I needed this video and to listen to this words. I have a HUGE collection of body care and perfume as well, the perfume is kinda easier because it don't go bad, but the body cream, does. Specially the BBW shea body cream, they go bad quickly then the Body lotion. So I was holding and collecting a lot, and since here in Brazil we don't have an official BBW store, we have to buy from Imports stores and they can get expensive here... so I was collecting a lot and feeling like I couldn't use all because I didn't wanted it to end, but after a while the products just go bad :/ so now I'm USING MY STUFFFFF!!! And listen to your words really help me!!! ❤️❤️
