You have such a beautiful & colourful place there for the Birds @Lensmyth.
I love the moss, is it a large boulder, whatever it is, it's so lovely, and cheerful daffodils
w/ a background of tall trees and blue sky. Of course w/ lots of black oil sunflower seeds for the
Gorgeous colourful Birds.. so cute when the little ones come in from the backdrop!
Lilly, Fatty & I thank you for feeding the birds and for sharing with us.

The golden warblers that appear in this video are PINE WARBLERS, not goldfinches as some of you may think. These little birds bring some sunshine to this springtime scene in the woods. :)

To clarify, the goldfinches in your video are wearing their winter plumage and had not yet molted into the summer plumage, so that would be why the pine warblers show a bit more gold-yellow in their plumage. These look similar in appearance, but they are really two different kinds of birds. :)

On the moss plants on the rocks, were some black-oil sunflower seeds that your birds feast on. is that what it is? Moss is actually tiny plants that grow on rocks and/or boulders, right after a big rain shower? :)

That's moss growing on a large burned down tree. it was hollowed out by insect except the part that was charred. I came across it in the those woods behind. It's cool the moss all around here seem to flourish in the strangest places
