Paper Roll Relief Sculpture

Create relief sculpture with me using cardboard tubes (from toilet paper, paper towels, gift wrap, etc), scissors, and glue! You can use paper or cardboard as your base. This is a great, hands-on assignment for teaching about radial symmetry as well!

What grade level do you find this most successful for?

I do it with 8th but I’d say any age can do it with varying level of detail! My 8th graders brush paint with metallic acrylics and add decoration with paint pen markers as well.
