We love it here! We are in Northern Idaho. It’s refreshing to see people in restaurants pray before they eat their meal. It’s something we do, it’s nice not being looked at like we are freaks.

The good thing about living in Boise is that despite the cold winter months it doesn’t get buried in several inches of snow; or a few feet of snow from a snow storm like Burlington,Vermont; or Binghamton,NY; I have lived in those two cities in the past.

Girl, just straight out say it... Californians... I get it. We have a reputation for being super liberal. With how huge this state is and how many people live here, there's more conservatives than people think. I know it feels like an overwhelming amount of Californians are moving to Idaho, but most that do, are conservative and looking to find a place we would fit into. And there ARE country folks here too. Cowboys, farmers, ranchers, gun loving patriots etc etc. There's no worries about a Californian moving there trying to change things unless you see the rainbow flag or some clear sign they're a liberal. And many of us like to keep to ourselves too just because most of our neighbors are liberal and uptight and snobby and self centered. But a lot of us conservatives in Cali are really down to earth. We don't all have lots of money or huge houses and electric cars. We just want to be left alone and not be told what to do or not to do. We just want to be free and live around like minded folks. As long as Idahoans are friendly and welcoming to us California migrants, you will find we are not much different and we're very friendly if we were just given that chance to show people that.
Most people don't realize or even remember that before 1992, California was a RED state and between 1992 to 2004, it was PURPLE, but turning more Democrat crazy every year. From 1993 to 2001, Richard J. Riordan, a Republican, and terrible RINO (which was the norm back then), was the mayor of Los Angeles. From 1967 to 1975, Ronald Reagan was our Governor. Then from 1983 to 1999, George Deukmejian and Pete Wilson, both Republicans, were state governors. The reason there are so few Republicans left in California is because, over the years, most of them moved to Red states like Idaho, making them more conservative, while at the same time, liberals from all over moved in. Many of my old friends and some family members moved to red states and they were all right-wing , religious, pro-2A conservatives.
Californians destroyed my hometown. There was a boom in the late 80’s and the town grew from 4K to 16k and the people did nothing but complain about our way of life. I was forced to move away do to the Californians influence on our town. The sentiment comes backed by reason.

Regarding jobs, It is true that they are a few good-paying jobs, but the truth is that Idaho mainly hites people from Idaho they know for those well-paying jobs. If you are an immigrant is even more challenging to find a job despite having a college degree. It is blatant discrimination, not culture. Idaho is missing the input of new ideas and diversity. We aren’t into entertainment we been to Vegas one time to take my brother to airport lol and we are close to Vegas 🤣We are from a small town in yes California… it used to be fine but city people have moved in and started building air bnbs everywhere and changing our quiet high desert town. If we do move we would love to hear about some great churches that teens enjoy. We have to adapt to the cold but we would rather have that then 100+ degree weather. I hope it works out and we are accepted by the community.
Idaho is serene, not a lot to do, so you might drive to a little bigger city on your day off. Its too bad they dont have a few scrabble clubs there. If idaho was flat, it would be bigger than texas.their are a lot of mountain peaks there.there are really good restaurants there.i unfortunately live in las vegas nv. Its kind of a boring drive from twin falls to boise, something to keep in mind.if you live out in the country, your neighbors might be a mile away but its pleasant, sometimes all you hear are sprinkler pipes. Just be hospitable and respect the place.
Check out Luke 22:36 and think 2,000 years ago and how it would apply today: “[Jesus] said to them, ‘But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one.’”
And there you have it. I told you...cancer spreads. Beware. I like the UA-cam videos of people that have moved from California to Idaho, and they are complaining about the topography. "We didn't know it was like...wilderness. Where's the ocean?" LOL. Here's a hint to these people: Montana is very similar. Now you see why California went from being a beautiful destination state to a Communist toilet. I hope the same doesn't happen to Idaho.
The gods of the nations are demons. You need to repent of your sins and believe the gospel. Not abandon your family because you feel guilty about being rich like buddha did.
“Idaho people don’t want their values messed with..” yes, they are stuck in their ways. They hate when people with actual culture move here. They lead and govern with religious views, which is due to the fact that it’s 90% Mormon. “Alot of people don’t take too kindly of people who…” yes, they are racist. She’s literally just told us that if we feel entitled to our own opinion, then “rethink moving here” Things being closed on sundays is the an exact example of controlling a society using religion. Let me tell you a secret, 99% of Hispanics do their shopping on Sunday and all these companies just lose a lot of money and business. Harsh reality #3 about winters. Yes. They are harsh. It sucks. Period. #4. Yes Idaho is growing. And it’s a huge problem. Idaho falls traffic is just as bad as LA. Try getting from one side of town to the other( 4 miles) , at 5 pm on a weekday, it takes 30+ minutes. Used to be a small town. Now it’s a small town with a lot of people. It’s not even enjoyable anymore. #5. There is nothing for adults to do. There’s one museum, one aquarium, and a sad excuse of a mall. You can only go to those things so many times before it gets boring. Idaho falls is a place to live out retirement, not live your life.
We are not a racist community. Yes we have lots of Hispanics here and many shop on sundays. As do a lot of other people. And most stores are open on sundays. A business being closed on a Sunday Is not about controlling anyone. Sorry you feel that way. I’m curious why are you still here?
I am from california, and lived in idaho for 14 years. I worked in a restaurant, and gov. Evans came in at the time, some idaho hunters came in and i overheard one of them say" those californians shoot at everything. I live in las vegas nv now and its a dumpsite and last place police state.
From Parma, Idaho, the things that you’ve stated are wonderful things. I speak for my whole family. But the things that we need to add are, keep your California, Colorado, New York, blue state, attitudes out of here. We like it the way we like it don’t go screw up our state. We do not take kindly to that. Idahoans are wonderful, gentle nice God-fearing people, clean, and considerate. But there is a wild side that you don’t wanna open up a box of. Keep Idaho free. Look what’s happened to Boise, weird, parades, and flags all over and I don’t mean the American flag. We need to vote these people out.

Its kind of a boring drive from twin falls to boise, something to keep in mind.if you live out in the country, your neighbors might be a mile away but its pleasant, sometimes all you hear are sprinkler pipes. Just be hospitable and respect the place.
God likes guns?? What does God have to do with guns?
Check out Luke 22:36 and think 2,000 years ago and how it would apply today: “[Jesus] said to them, ‘But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one.’”
@@stephenmitchell6554 the dame Jesus whose mother was banging Joseph?
He, God, wants us to have the ability to defend and protect our homes and families against those who wish to do us harm.
And there you have it. I told you...cancer spreads. Beware.
I like the UA-cam videos of people that have moved from California to Idaho, and they are complaining about the topography.
"We didn't know it was like...wilderness. Where's the ocean?"
LOL.
Here's a hint to these people: Montana is very similar.
Now you see why California went from being a beautiful destination state to a Communist toilet.
I hope the same doesn't happen to Idaho.
Never move to Idaho .... Terrible place stay away
Idaho is no good, stay in your state. You won't like it here.
There's no such thing as "Idaho" or "Idaho Falls" or the "U.S."
Huh?
I feel like this video was pretty biased.
I love Buddha and guns. Will I be accepted?
The gods of the nations are demons. You need to repent of your sins and believe the gospel. Not abandon your family because you feel guilty about being rich like buddha did.
@@mogrowneyiv7306 I have no family because they abandoned me. Buddha can beat up Jesus any day.
Be sure you are Mormon when you move there. And wear warm clothing in winter.
Never move to Idaho .... Terrible place stay away
Praise the Lord and pass the bullets were packing our bags😎
“Idaho people don’t want their values messed with..” yes, they are stuck in their ways. They hate when people with actual culture move here. They lead and govern with religious views, which is due to the fact that it’s 90% Mormon.
“Alot of people don’t take too kindly of people who…” yes, they are racist. She’s literally just told us that if we feel entitled to our own opinion, then “rethink moving here”
Things being closed on sundays is the an exact example of controlling a society using religion.
To each their own.... 😬🐾🐎 Sounds perfect to me.
We are not a racist community. Yes we have lots of Hispanics here and many shop on sundays. As do a lot of other people. And most stores are open on sundays. A business being closed on a Sunday Is not about controlling anyone. Sorry you feel that way. I’m curious why are you still here?
Hopefully your ilk moves elsewhere.
Yes, he is what everyone is wanting to keep out. #8441 wants to Californiate everywhere. He considers that normal. Huh.@@ts4426
Easy fix. Don't like it here, leave. Move to San FranShitHole.
Conservative 🤢🤮
