On the wireless haste 2 on the bottom under the sticker it still has the honeycomb cutouts. I'd imagine the wired is the same but at least its hidden now and covered by the sticker so no way of gunk getting in. Thanks for the review not many people have done one for the wired version.
So I bought the wired one, and I've noticed a weird issue. If the HyperX ingenuity utility is not running in the background the mouse will stutter after switching the DPI button. If the software is running the issue does not happen. This is disappointing because the mouse having onboard memory is a huge selling point for me. I hate having to keep a utility running just to use a mouse. Can anyone else verify this issue on their Haste 2 wired? Wondering if I have a defective issue. HyperX support was no help. They did not answer if the issue was just my copy, which makes me think it's a firmware issue that will be present in all mice-not just mine.
Short answer: YES, the Haste 2 is an upgrade in every way possible. Long answer (not sponsored): I just recently purchased the Haste 2 when I was using a G102 (basically a wired G305) for more than 6 months. It's such a tremendous upgrade and I can't believe how affordable it is. When compared to the G102, here is what I liked and disliked about the Haste 2: Likes: - 53g weight. Feels like im holding air in my hands, takes a while to get used to but definitely a better experience. - Build quality. Despite the reduced weight, the Haste 2 feels sturdy and quite premium, it won't feel like you can crush the mouse in your hand. - Click feel. The Haste 2's left and right button has a bit heavier clicks but also much more crispier yet still spammable. The switches are also rated for 100 million clicks. In terms of the side buttons, they are also pretty crispy, larger in size and easily accesible during use. - Shape. It's fairly safe for most grip styles, personally I use a relaxed claw grip with small-medium hand size and I immediately got comfortable with the Haste 2. - Scroll wheel. I liked it a LOT. It had much more defined steps and was still easy to scroll with. I use it for jumping in CSGO and it's so much BETTER than the G102's. - Sensor. It uses a Pixart PAW3395 sensor which is one of the best sensors available in the market right now. My aim felt more accurate, the mouse is very responsive, and everything is much more smoother overall. - Glide. The stock skates of the Haste 2 are capable of gliding very well, and work hand in hand with the 53g weight. Great experience. - Software. HyperX's NGENUITY software is relatively simple and not cluttered which is great for me. Everything you can configure in the mouse is accessible and the aRGB customization is also pretty great. I'd say it's definitely better than Logitech's G HUB. - Cable. This was one that I didn't expect to be so light and provided little to no resistance and drag to the mouse. It is very flexible and using a mouse bungee will pretty much give you a Haste 2 Wireless. - Value proposition. The Haste 2 is probably the best wired mouse you can get at $60. In my country it was being sold for $50 which is a must-buy in that situation. In some countries, the Razer DeathAdder V3 wired can go around the $50 - $60 price range though, which is something to consider. Dislikes: - None. At this price point, I would recommend just buying it whenever available. I am so happy with my Haste 2 and it's one of the best purchases I ever made.
@@mai-zed but are the switches easy to click ik u said it's a bit heavier but is it so heavy to point it's hard to click also what about the size? Is it a small mouse?
@@tiktactoe Hello, thank you for responding. With the Haste 2 clicks I felt the need to point it out because it took a tiny bit more force to actuate compared to the G102/G305's, however it is still considerably easy to click. It could be because the Haste 2 hasn't loosen up yet compared to my G102, or just because of the different mechanical switches used. The Haste 2 is longer than the G102/G305 shape so it's around the medium-size range. Additionally, the hump of the Haste 2 is more centered compared to the G102/G305 which is near the rear end of the mouse.

What are the pink, purple and blue color codes you used and what is their order in the scheme? I really like how this color combination looks.
Anything above 800 dpi is crazy to me 🤣🤣

@@mai-zed Is he such good,so it worth to buy him??
@@mai-zed Give the switches a few days to a week and they will soften up.
Huh they just invented a mechanical switch that is better than razers optical switches and u don't go over it?
