Queen goes to that square, but only after rook takes first. Rook takes, pawn recaptures, queen takes pawn, which is a check and also forking the opponent rook
No, if Rxf5 then Black doesn’t have recapture, they can ignore and give a check with Qg3+, the King is forced to either h1 or g1, then Rc1+, if the King moved to g1 then it’s checkmate, if the King moved to h1 then Bf1 blocks the check, then Rxf1# is checkmate.
Rh5+, the King is forced to g8 or Pawn takes with gxh5, if Pawn takes then the Bishop loses its defender, so Qxf5+ captures the Bishop and forks the King and Rook, so you just win a Bishop and prevent a back rank mate.
Didn't he miss 2 checkmates ? or I'm crazy. I saw at least 2 checkmate patterns in this. 1 at the end, and the first one directly after he said "now if you move your knight to a certain squares, you could lose" at 2:53
"I have Rg6... in some lines" translates to "I don't have Rg7, but I have to justify my hand drawing that arrow." Wait, what's with the hypothetical queen sac at 9:08, on move (I believe) 47? How's that winning?
Based on the title of the game I tried finding where you missed mate, and I FOUND IT... however I had no idea how to get it LOL When you found the spot at the end I screamed I KNEW IT WAS HERE GODDAMMIT I KNEW IT!!! I even paused at this position and tried finding a mate for like 5 minutes before giving up... I suck
because for example if rook takes bishop then black's move is Qg3 check, then doesnt matter where king goes as long as it's the first rank, then theres Rc1 checkmate!
My 300 ELO brain thinking taking the bishop was the winning move 💀
🤔300 elo player can think🙀🙀🙀🙀
@@aryansingh7270 hello brother 😅
@@tdfe hi
My rate in chess is literally 0. Could you explain to me why is not a suitable move ?
@@npc60061 you'd get checkmated first apparently
8:28 imma pretend like rf5 was not my idea
Levy never fails to miss checkmate
This is the first time I've ever seen the mate without Levy seeing it
that final frame 💀
I never screamed H5 louder in my life I was so surprised you didn’t see it 💀
"take or no balls" killed me 🤣
i mean Levy was about to be checkmated in the next move but he managed to save the draw! thank god for Levy's perpectual checks!
7:15 free bisschop?? Nvm qg3+ than rc1+
Man I love your videos
9:09 i still can't figure out that move
I think he meant rook takes

I see it now. The knight was defending. My bad
Are you talking Rg7?
Edit; if Rxg7 then Kxg7
I was screaming bro sack THE ROOOOKK. I saw the mate and bro I'm 200 elo

You had quite similar thumbnail to Anna's newest video!
7:13 rook takes bishop!?
Yes

The only thing stupid about this is the rook sacrifice all other im coming
RxF5, then Qg3 and rook gives back rank mate
Sorry to say this, Levy, but that was really a Bozo miss!
5th
7:19, isn't that a free bishop? The pawn cant take
Bro didn’t watch till de end of the video
