Nope this is a great idea, set your training different for youngn/old players, adjust their minutes accordingly and watch their morale/fatigue. Doing this recently allows me to get good value/production from older players.

Problem is scottie and other young guys don’t have definitive roles on offense for Toronto. It’s literally pascal and Fred with the ball in their hands all game. It really stunts young players growth. Fred gotta go this off-season and give scottie a bigger role

Yes I have done the research in my rebuilds, 2K seems to have changed the formula in the algo. It values long time development, consistency, fit and chemistry more than building a super team with high overalls (compared to older 2K’s where this was the requirement). Which is more realistic I guess 😂
Yep tested this with several heat rebuilds, getting a few 3&d players on minimums or roleplayer contracts (Og annuoby and/dorian finney. Keeping the same core etc...I think this is why i see the hawks and cavs have such dominant reigns over the league. this is a good change in formula.

Siakam for Simons isn’t far from reasonable value. You’re not getting a T10 pick AND Simons for him…unless you’re taking back the Nurkic contract or something lol. Just my opinion, I truly have no clue wtf POR is doing. If Siakam was younger or had a cheaper contract I think you’d get a lot more but idk.
I do like Simons a lot as a future PG for someone. Maybe they’d do OG for Simons and like a ‘29 unprotected pick swap? That could be a rly juicy pick swap considering Dame would be gone. Or maybe if they get like pick #6 or #7 or whatever, you could do 13 and OG for Simons and 7? That could be dope. Thad Young as the salary filler.

So I did a rebuild with portland and gained siakim and sent a package of players and picks and a part of that was shaedon sharpe and man sharpe and scottie both averaged 20 first year together and was a play in team
Check your adv team stats, and your team intel to improve upon weaknesses. I usually just stack my defense, og and bam or og and another two way forward/guard. Scottie and another scorer.
Shaedon Sharpe will be a good fit on the raps his duo with Scottie will be very intriguing
You should do a Jalen Duren face of the franchise full on rebuild around him

As a raptors fan, we do not want vanvleet anymore on our team. Great guy, but bro has the 5th lowest fg% in the league and he shoots us out of a lot of close games
I didn’t understand not moving him at the deadline. LAC no DOUBT had high interest in him…and they had the assets if Toronto was being realistic. A 2028 or 2029 1st unprotected and just some salary filler would’ve been a great return. I can’t imagine LAC being good that far away. I feel strongly that LAC would’ve done it too. Maybe instead of Eric Gordon in that whole trade, they just deal with TOR and get back like Thad Young…or they do a 3 team deal and still get Plumlee but get FVV instead of EG.
Also the FRP they sent out for Poeltl is a GOOD pick. Only T6 protected, and it’s protected for 24/25/26. Gave up two 2nds too. That’s a lot for a guy you’re gonna have to pay 4/70 or whatever. Just a weird team.

How do you get a custom draft class? When I do start today because the playoffs have started it gives me an auto generated one, but it never did they before. when I obviously would like wemby, scoot, etc
