This is why I never videotape this particular siren because I used to live right by it and their tests are horrible.

Judging by how most of the dead battery 864-driven 4004s in Mount Pleasant do this, I’d say that this is bad batteries.
Never heard a Whelen growl before.
Definitely an interesting experience.
It's probably bad batteries. Both the analog and digital ESC-864 controls grow when their batteries go too low in voltage. Everything made afterwards just abruptly shuts off when the voltage goes too low.
