I’m sure it’s been said a hundred times, but I’m extremely impressed with the ingenuity of your shop made machines, which look awesome as well as being fit for purpose, but in particular I really like your shop made panel saw. Factory ones cost an arm and 3 legs. The multitude of factory produced shop machines, such as your pillar drill press etc, look way better than any cast iron or crappy thin steel chinesium effort. I can only imagine the sense of satisfaction using your own machines and of course the money saving too.

Making a wood clamp that holds the outside of the tube against the inside piece of wood avoids screwing the tube into the wood each time. congratulations on the channel .. !! i love video editing Cheers.
The Makita caulk gun is $130 brand new for the bare tool. If ergonomics are a concern, like you're going to be using it a lot that's a small price to pay for a purpose designed tool that already fits your battery pack of choice. DeWalt and Milwaukee also offer caulk guns similar prices.
This is really a great and simple tool, great work JSK-koubou, instead of the 4 screws you could use a hose clamp around the tube to prevent the round wood from being pushed backwards (just an idea). Best regards and keep up your good work
I agree. Plus the heavy drill makes it clunky and unwieldy to use. I can't see the advantages of using this, unless you were using the very large industrial caulking cartridges and needed to dispense the caulk very rapidly over a large area. Seems to me that the manual method has a lot of advantages over this method.
Thank you for all of your videos. Thank you also for links to all equipment used. One question, please. Can you also list any shop supplies you use? Double sided tape, acrylic paints, epoxies, etcetera. Im especially interested in the epoxies and paints used.
your comment would be half as stupid had you said Makita since dewalt has not invented anything! also, are you aware that makita already made an electric caulking gun?
Actually with this one I feel something is missing :( All of your creations are full of variation, adjustability, practicality...but this one doesn't. It's a piece of wood that's screwed to the plastic container and you need to hold it in order for it NOT to rotate. Now I get that the version is better then manual squeezing of a hand pistol...but still, comparing to all your previous work, this is a slightly step back. I didn't press a down thumb on the video...just sharing my thoughts.
His raison d'etre. Some of the projects are very useful, some perhaps not so much. This particular project excellent for example shown to save on effort to hands/fingers. Might be tricky to use in confined spaces. Now, a hydraulic plunger on the end of a flexible hose might be just the ticket. Could use both hands for fine caulking purposes and have a foot switch, or switch held between teeth ...😬😁. Now that would be even more useful.
Not sure this would be cost effective..definitely not in the field where time is money. Good idea if buying a quality cordless caulk gun isn't an option.
Squeeze that trigger too hard and you are in for some serious clean up time... maybe some sort of reduction gear box from an old drill incorporated somehow?

片手では作業が出来ないし、交換する度にビスで止める手間を考えると普通にガン使った方が楽だと思う。
通常の現場ではそうでしょうね

My friend, I can't tell you how much I enjoy the practicality and simple beauty of your projects. Thank you.

Its pretty cool idea, however it doesnt have the functionality to release the tension when done.
It does. Just reverse the screwdriver.

Даже такой инструмент у мастера получился прекрасным. Приятно посмотреть!
Man I wish this was posted a month ago - such a brilliant idea and would have saved me so much hand and arm aches hahaha

Good idea
Great idea!! Will use it when re-doing all the cornices in my house!! Thanks!
作る手間考えるとガンの良いもの使った方が良いと思う😅
Гениально! :)
This.... is a brilliant video. Thank you for posting👍
Genius!!
Your projects are so precious and practical, thanks
Really interesting project, dude! Fantastic idea! 😃
Really well done!!!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
What is the name/type of the bolt in 3:57 ?
I have used several washers of different sizes (on top of each) 42mm and 30mm.
and you can use T-Nut Four Claw Nut
It looks like it was salvaged from a cheap G-clamp.
Its from a standard caulking gun
Excellent idea! But using this tool not so comfortable. Please, can you think about the one-hand-tool is?

Good idea. That would make it quicker to transfer the parts to a new tube when the existing is empty.
発想が面白い。
これをコーキングガンに組み込めれば、本物の電動コーキングガンにも対抗できるだろう。
Ingenious, but it won't catch on unless you develop a quicker way of changing cartridges.

The first glue looks like epoxy. What kind of glue is the black one?
Tolle Arbeit 😁⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍
Cool project as usual. However the attachment to the tube cries out for some 3d printing; like a screw on ring that clamps onto the tube...
Why 3D printed? Metal clamps exist.
Nice work but y not modify original Caulking gun? ur creation is not effevtion when replacing a new one
this will be a useful tool. but were do you get the screw's with the cups?
Nice work as usual. We posted this video on our homemade tools forum this week :)
Another good idea. But can you tell us the difference between the glue s you used?
Thank You Dear Mr DIY MAGICIAN; If I had know that was the solution (SIKA PU) to stick on 240m² of massive oak floorboard!
Great job on the electric caulking gun Friend! Thank you for sharing the video with us!💖👌👍😎JP

Simple but works very well.
nice work!
Geniale, come sempre!
Good idea, but why cut the bar, why not just put some glue towards the end of the shaft, and wind the nut onto the glue.....
The nut works as a coupler.
less strong to have the joint in the middle. Probably would still hold though
👍👍👍💯💯grazie Italia biutiful
YOU SHOULD PATENT THIS BEFORE DE-WALT SEES IT.
your comment would be half as stupid had you said Makita since dewalt has not invented anything! also, are you aware that makita already made an electric caulking gun?
and paints in yellow!
Nice idea but you still have better control over a good corking gun.
Excellent idea!
Always love what you do, your work is always amazing, hope I can do the samething like you
So simple 👌
good idea for SOME applications
Genial 👍👍👍👌
Great idea thanks for sharing Richard
Eres el puto amo, lo que a ti no se te ocurra....
would have used a screwband instead of the 4 screws
Very clever!
Pretty cool ... bit unwieldy but cool.
