To whoever will watch this, enjoy some splitrun I recorded back in October and never got around to post, it's pretty overdue but eh, now it's out there
At the moment I'm kinda transitioning from playing solo game modes to party mode. Just like this, my last goal in agario is to get a decent splitrun level. Nice to watch!
If I can give any advice, it'd be this: - play (too) slow at the beginning, lots of party players try to go too fast and don't control anything when they start - learn the proper pattern by watching good players (I can recommend some if you want, most of the ones I'm subbed to are good runners) - don't backsplit: the direction doesn't matter as much as the orientation: if you're going to backsplit, split literally the opposite way, 180° on the other side - split on the side pieces of your mate, not through the middle - focus on eating the pieces before splitting again: this can mean just waiting an extra second until you've absorbed most of the pieces of your mate - keep the pattern and keep a rythm: playing with a consistent rythm and consistency over all is what will make you a good runner - don't be afraid to use Ws from time to time but don't over-do it (I can give specifics on this if you want) + once you get better, start paying attention to the position of your cursor, it's very important (being a solo player you'll understand that more easily since you know xsplits): close up, middle distance or really far away. This is the difference between an okay runner and a really good one.
One more, I don't know how I forgot: don'' cross your splits, split are straight as you possibly can by putting your cusor far from you: this helps a *ton* to keep a clean run
@@upsidedown4882 Thanks a lot for the advice! I watched a bunch of pro's already and I already tried not to backsplit (too much) and also eat the side pieces. I saw in your video that you sometimes wait to eat before you split, I should do that more. I think I put my cursor not too far away ;-; but I will work on the pattern and rhythym first. Also when I am smaller, I tend to split more through the middle of my teammate, or is that a bad idea
@@iamlegend3927 Splitting through the middle is never a good idea when you splitrun cause you get in the way of your mate and block his split path, and often eat the middle pieces but leave pieces of both sides. When you do that, when your mate starts to split again, those pieces divide, escape on the sides and quickly block them at 16, stopping the run. If you can, play using an extension, it helps visualizing the pattern a lot (standard ogario works fine, if you have duo I recommand hslo, the physics are much better). Also if you want, record yourself and send me a link, I'll watch and give you some feedback.
@@upsidedown4882 coming back to this. I've played a lot with ogario, both in duo or multiboxing. I always liked multiboxing so recently I got back into this. It's also a way to continue my channel, a bunch of solo players appreciate multiboxing too. Here you can see how my multibox splitrunning is doing: streamable.com/59s921 around 2:30 I made some bad splits and got stuck a bit. Let me know how I did. Also, it's vanilla... a quick survey on the solo discord community group showed that people absolutely hate ogario and don't like/want to watch videos with it. To make it at least look a bit like ogario I turned off skins to make the patterns more visible. I still mostly use ogario, but I don't know yet if I will use that footage for videos
