Fantastic game over all. The momentum swings back and forth was one for the ages! Russia seemed like the X factor in South East Asia. Europe was fully in control of Germany/Italy. Allies in the Pacific worked extremely well together during the late game to take back key territories.
Thanks HuntLikeDavid. This was my first time evacuating Moscow for the Russians (not sure it made any difference either way). The can-opener for the Allies will be key if they can work together providing 1-2-3-4-5-6 punch.
GW39 is a very difficult game to play solo - well done, sir! I think your thoughts at the end are spot-on. There are many "what if?" moments in these games, but that is what brings us back to the table. If things went 'logically' each game, then we would stop playing. This game, especially, had some very interesting moments that led to an excellent finish! I have also had games where I look back and think that maybe I wasted resources because the units didn't get used, but then I realize that without those units in that space at that moment, the enemy may have had more options. So, your massive Kriegsmarine kept Western Europe in Axis hands the entire game, despite not firing a shot, so to speak. That is worth a lot, too! Good job, TC!
Thanks Hilltop! I guess that's why we roll out the dice and see what happens in real time. This was a fun game and I did think the Axis had things wrapped up.

It feels like both sides can win now. I like it.
I agree CB's. This was a fun strategy and game.
Great recap. Fun to try new things, dont want the game to become scripted.
Thanks Captain G! I recall you and Eggman came up with some new and cool strategies during our UA-cam games!
