First answer is you can call/email UKVI and explain this situation. Do mention your application number and attach your BRP and Passport copy. Second, once you have scanned the BRP and submitted the application, you don't need to do anything else, no appointment needed. All the best!

I would suggest you mention the total number of months from the date of arrival to the UK till today, and most importantly, there will be a question asking about your holidays that were more than 2 weeks do mention this 3 months India holiday trip.

Since the UK will not be issuing the BRP from 2025, people will have to use the share code which you might have got it from the UKVI. I believe when you start your dependant visa the form might show your further instruction on what details you need to provide. For further details, kindly reach out to UKVI.

Living with a friend or relative instead of renting your own accommodation will not affect your PSW visa application. The visa does not require proof of independent accommodation, as long as you meet all the eligibility criteria, such as having a valid student visa at the time of application and successfully completing an eligible course.

I would suggest you wait until 25th Jan (a week before your current passport expires) to apply PSW, maybe you will receive new passport. the first Eligibility tells you to stay in the UK while applying for a graduate visa. You shouldn't be traveling when your application is under process. www.gov.uk/graduate-visa I would suggest you stay in the UK until you get the visa and then plan accordingly

This PSW is your two-year stay backup and there is no option to apply one year. You'll have to apply straight for 2 years.

After your completion of the course, you should receive an email from University about your eligibility and they have informed UKVI.

. Its been 46 days i didmt receive it yet.. But i want to apply for PSW now.. What should i do now.. Should i apply with my old passport.. Old passport will be expired on 2nd February 2024..and my visa will expire 28th of February 2024.

I would suggest you wait until 25th Jan (a week before your current passport expires) to apply PSW, maybe you will receive new passport.
However, if you would like to apply now then apply with the old passport as you don't have any other option.

As per our research, the straight answer to your query is a NO.
you can stay in the UK until you get your decision. It doesn't say anything about extending your current visa.

Bhai in my case my visa expired on 29 january but i completed my application on 27 january except provide evidance option as in mail they asked me you dont need to provide an evidence but you can complete application process by confirm and submit before 13 april decision to be made.then i submited my evidance option as empty on 4 febrary after my visa expiration.will that be fine? I am so confused but i received my reference number on 27th january the day i submitted.
if you've received the visa application submission email before 29th January, you don't need to worry. Just wait for the result.
@@SettBro brother but i completed and submitted my evidence option which is 4rth option in psw on 4 febrary after my visa expiration.in mail they asked you can submit this option before 13 april to complete application.basically my application status showing up 27th january but evidence submitted showing 4rth February.

If you've lost your BRP, you must first report the loss to the UKVI before applying for PSW and ask for further advice.
They cut main applicant fees same but dependent fees 300 extra . Why ?
They will email you to pay the remaining
My wife's visa is for less than 6 months bcoz she came here in oct and my visa is expiring on 26th January and her visa as well bcoz she is my dependant. I aksed the govt website that she didn't get her brp then they said she is not supposed to get brp because her visa is less than 6 months. Now i don't know how to apply for her dependant graduate visa. Pease guide me pls

I get appointment for her visa and submitted the docs whatever they need on 9th jan and 12th jan I got mail from home office that we received your application (my wife's application).

Do the dependent have to pay a health surcharge as well?
IHS needs to be paid for each applicant and you can see that while you fill out your application.
Actually I just applied for myself as a dependent, and It was showing 0.0 amount to pay for a health surcharge , I am confused now , because I even checked on their website gov.uk to confirm it saying I don't have to pay

If your dependents (baby, spouse) are not in the UK, you won't be able to apply for their visa. I would suggest not to mention about the kid.

why you fill you wasn't outside the uk in five year why you didn't mention your country 🤔
1. You already mentioned the duration you lived in the UK which means you were outside the UK before that (own country)
2. It is asking if you have "travelled" any other country. So, if you have travelled anywhere from your own country then mention the details. 07:32.

once you start your application, there is an question saying 'is someone else applying with you' select yes and follow the steps. It might have some options for the people who just have the Share code.
