    So they got rid of a golf course and put in solar panels? Sounds like a win win to me

    People are unfortunately so entitled!!! If the land doesn't belong to you, then it's none of your business. If someone were to pitch a tent in your actual backyard, you have the right to get your shot gun and say leave MY property. But you don't have a right to tell people or business what to do on their land if their not harming you.

    Oh no, a useless 100% artificial golf course which consumes massive amounts of water and fossil fuels to maintain is being replaced with renewable green energy! The horror! Outrage!

      Nothing like putting up solar panels just to see your electric bill and property taxes increase. It helps the economy though. What a joke

      They gave special exemptions during COVID, here in Baltimore County. They are now building a 45 acre solar farm behind my property. That area was both agricultural and essential marsh. But the local government only sees the green of money.

    Follow the money of who are friends with that first buyer. Happened to my father in law when he sold property the city forced him to sell it as they kept citing him for violations, and the company the city said he could sell it to turned around and sold it to the city for twice the price. The middle party was associated with one of the board, and after the fact there was nothing we could do as we did not know he was selling it till it was done... all legal... all shady as heck.

    • @billcarver6539
      @billcarver6539 3 роки тому +2

      Well sure it produces clean power. But, look at the amount of energy it takes to produce solar panels, then the amount of toxic shit that is in them. Also, they only last for about 25 to 30 years, they cant even be recycled because of the toxins in them, so they are shipped off to china or india for disposal because the epa will not allow any disposal in the us. When you think about it, a solar panel dose not even produce the energy it took to make it.

      Except for the huge lithium battery converters that produce a constant low level hum, the cadmium that can leak from cracked panels and destroy the water source and nearby agriculture. Oh, and all of the farmland and essential marshlands they are destroying in order to save money (cost more to put panels on existing buildings and asphalted lots).
