Good morning gentlemen..its so great to see Lee Brainard( I call him Lee the brainiac) explain his pre-trib studies and listen to his explanation of how we need to stand on the early church father's interpretation of our blessed hope, the pre-trib rapture..I love listening to both Jeff and Todd, who are both great teachers and preachers of the Bible and as well as prophetic events of today. This helps so many people...Thanks again❤
Why should we stand on the "early church fathers " interpretation of our blessed hope when as followers of Christ we ARE in dwelt with the SAME HOLY SPIRIT they have. WHY not stand on the HOLY SPIRITS interpretation of WHAT HE WROTE ABOUT OUR BLESSED HOPE?
I think it would be great if you could have Dr. Andy Woods on your Prophecy Pros podcast and let him address 2 Thessalonians 2:3 I enjoyed your podcast today and special guest. Very informative . Thank you for your ministry in God’s Word.
Great discussion, always good to hear Lee speak systematically through history and scripture to lay out sound hermeneutic for the biblical world view. Thanks, guys, please keep em coming, and thanks for bringing on such great guests as Lee!
As soon as this video popped up on my feed, I knew the comment section would be frenetic. I can’t help wondering if those who are predictably railing against, have actually LISTENED to the full content of the video. The arguments against, are fully addressed. Those who rail against, seem to reject the actual role of the Church, and the Church Age, conflating and confusing it with Israel and the still active Covenants. It’s such a grating absurdity (not to mention insulting) to portray the Rapture as some escapist “get out of jail free card” because such people “can’t abide hardship”. But I suggest strongly, that the way things are going, none of us are going to have to wait very long to experience the truth of the matter. And those true Christians who reject the notion have no need to fear - we don’t have to believe in the Rapture in order to benefit from it. So relax, or go be a prepper.
1 Corinthians 15:52 says after the last trumpet we will be taken. Not pre trib rapture. Last Trumpet. Read 1 Corinthians 15:35-53 if interested. I would love to hear your feedback.
Sorry but you are wrong the words caught up are NOT used. No ONE is caught up. The verse pertains to the righteous Jews who will be raised to go into THEIR Kingdom
@@AmigocontequilaPaul is speaking about the resurrection itself, which was first and formost about Jesus resurrection. If there is no resurrection, our faith is useless, I belueve, Paul is saying.
@@robertcain3426 Simply because there is no mention of Jews really ? We must apply 2 Tim 2:15 to understand this. We know we are caught up 1 Thes 4:13-18 BUT there is NO mention of anyone being caught up here. We also Know that the Jews have been promised THEIR own kingdom, which the Christ will establish when He returns. Hence 1 Cor 15:50
I've read Margaret MacDonald's letter from her "vision" that is supposed to be the basis of Darby's view, and it doesn't even mention anything about a pretrib rapture. It reads like about what you might expect from a fairly well educated and devout young (teenaged) lady in the 1800's. In other words, lots of fluffy highflown rhetoric, but not much in the way of deep analysis. I'm sure that she was a very sweet lady, but she is not a good source of Eschatology.🙏✝️👑✝️🙏
Lee, you said the Saints that come back with Jesus proves the pretrib rapture. What about the Saints throughout all generations? Couldn't they be the Saints that return with Him? In my pea brain that does not support a pretrib.
They are not returning after seven years of being at the marriage supper of the lamb while Israel and the nations are here without the witness of the church. By the way those tribulation saints are us . Those who endure to the end will be saved.
Remember, Jesus said that the dead will rise first. Some experts believe that OT Saints are excluded because they were under the Law. I don't know. Then the living rise to meet Jesus in the air. Next, we are not the Tribulation Saints because we won't be here. Jesus returns for his church prior to the Tribulation. We know this from Scripture. Revelation says the Saints will return with Christ at Armageddon. We don't fight. How do we know? Again, in Revelation, it says that Jesus speaks. His words destroy the Antichrist's army. What an exciting future we Saints have!
@15:00 Hmm... maybe the apostasy that the Bible is referring to is not a current day apostasy, but that which occurred in the the third and fourth centuries.
2 Peter 3:3-4 New King James Version 3 knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.” So you insult the Christians who know the truth with this verse? It has absolutely nothing to do with a pre trib rapture. You should apologize for attacking the Christians who are telling you the truth.,
@@jamescole3152 Totally agree. I have had first-hand experience with a Christian cult. Any questioning or critiquing of their teaching results with them making statements that they are being attacked. This is typical cult strategy and only reinforces their misguided perception that they have the true teaching. But notice the response in this instance; 2 Peter 3:3 they exclude the rest of the verse "following their own evil desires" ἰδίας ἐπιθυμίας which they fail to explain or provide evidence
What tribulation? Rapture has nothing to do with escaping some 7 year tribulation that is not in scripture either. Day of the Lord is the end,.the same day of the rapture. No one goes to heaven bodily.
One question I haven’t heard a good answer to is why would God want the church here at the time of the tribulation have to go thru it. Why that age of the church?
2 Timothy 2:15 study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workmen that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Unless you do this you will thrown about with every wind of doctrine like scripture says in Ephesians 4:14. The word of God is clear about a pre trib rapture.
The word of God is clear about a pre trib rapture being the deception Paul warned the church not to fall for. 2 Thess 2 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of [b]sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits [c]as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
@ this is talking about most people falling for satan’s lie program. We’re not appointed to his wrath so why would we go through the tribulation, that is for Isreal not us the body of Christ. Our home is in heaven.
Man, listening to all views of rapture...we try so hard to convince one another who's right and who's wrong. I've also seen brothers call other brothers out for lying to prove their case. Lee Brainard was called out by Joel Richardson for doing this. Has it gotten so bad that we do this? When in reality, if you are a saved born again believer, it doesn't matter where you stand because you are going to be with Jesus in the end however it plays out. Wether you are a preterist, pre, mid, post whatever....when he comes, we will be glorified! Me personally, I do believe we are outta here at the 7th trumpet because (Rev 10:7) says this is when God's mysterious plan Will be fulfilled. Here's your parousia, Saints glorified (Rev:11-18) wrath against wicked, so I would think when the lamb opens the 6th seal is when He steps out for his own people and the wrath of the lamb begins. To me, this is ressurection/rapture. I don't care when this takes place, but it's what my Bible tells me! 👑🙏❤️😇
Nonsense! The early church never once had a pre-trib view. In fact the opposite!!!! They promised tribulation and trial and the test of your faith. The problem with pre-tribbers is they have no revelation from Christ. Listen to yourselves before you call yourselves teachers because their are two spirits that speak. The spirit of falsehoods and the Spirit of truth! Perseverance must finish it's work. Selah
@@iwitness8622 the first ones to teach the theory of pre-trib actually spoke of Daniels 70th week correctly. Somehow, someone changed the whole 7 year period to mean great tribulation. The great tribulation is only after the AOD, where Jesus pours out the bowls on the antichrist kingdom.
@@jamescole3152 I'm going to take that as a no. So you're the expert on the contents of a package you've never opened. Gotcha. Reading these comments is pretty nauseating...
I believed the quotes when I read them. Then I actually read the fathers AND WAS SHOCKED to discover that I had been lied to. The fathers are universally post-Trib. Why would Christian people lie about this? “Itching ears” is the verse that applies.
What difference does it make what the Early Church thought? 2Pt2:1. What does the BIBLE TEACH? Mt13:30 Where does JESUS teach anyone LEFT BEHIND? Lu17:26-30 Jesus said the SAME DAY destroyed THEM ALL. NOT 7-YEARS or 1000 years LATER destroyed them all. Jn5:28-29 ALL that are in the graves shall come forth. NOT 7 or 1000 years LATER. Do you believe Jesus or MAN???
@@EternityinOurHearts316 I have watched many of Lee's videos. So, what is your point? Have YOU read the scriptures I listed REBUKING his teachings, BEFORE YOU commented? I doubt it. Pre-tribers RARELY do.

@markhauserbible7168 chill out dude. All I'm saying is you look pretty foolish claiming to be an expert on the contents of a package you haven't opened.
Great tribulation timeline is as follows: Start: By the time that Jerusalem was surrounded by the Roman army in 70 A.D. (cf. Matthew 24:15-21) End: Immediately before Christ returns to gather the elect (cf. Matthew 24:29-31)
So you are saying almost all of church history is tribulation? That is very close. The great tribulation is when Christians are being killed for their faith. There is a time at the end of this age, read the 5th seal.
@@jamescole3152 Jesus gave the time marker for when there would be great tribulation by foretelling an event, which was the siege of Jerusalem in 70 A.D. So, yes, essentially the entire period of Christian history until just before Christ returns constitutes the great tribulation. The time when Christ _is seen coming_ (see Matthew 24:29-31 and Revelation 6) is the phase of the sixth seal when tribulation will come to its end. Christ will arrive at the seventh trumpet of the seventh seal to gather the saints, when the wrath of God begins to be poured out. Christians have been being killed for their faith since just before the siege of Jerusalem. It officially began with Pagan Rome in about 68 A.D. under Nero, then changed hands to the Roman Catholic Church, then to Islam and Communism.
To me, these positions have an issue with Revelation 6. The 24 elders sing that they have been redeemed by the blood of the lamb. The only ones redeemed by the blood of the lamb is the church as no seal has been opened yet. Seems to me the church (redeemed) are already in heaven before any of the seals are opened. Again, not a salvation issue
@@seychellesdreaming Daniel 9:24-27 is about the first coming of Christ, to Israel, his and the apostles' collective 7-year ministry during which he "caused to confirm covenant with many" (i.e. the new covenant of the shedding of his blood for the forgiveness of sins of the many which Jesus later declared at the last supper); in the middle of which period he was crucified, causing the temple sacrifices to cease (as far as God was concerned). By the time that the apostles left Israel to evangelize Gentile nations, 490 years had transpired, concluding the 70th week. 9:26 and 9:27 both conclude with the message that Jerusalem and its temple would be destroyed for their rejection of the Messiah. The event of that destruction occurred about 36 years later in 70 A.D. Matthew 24 refers to that event as the time by which great tribulation for the followers of Christ would begin. In Revelation, the 24 elders offer up the prayers of the saints. They are not, themselves, the raptured saints. They are figurative representatives of the hopes and prayers of the old- and new-testament saints, symbolized by a number summing up the twelve tribes with the twelve apostles. The saints are not gathered, as explained previously, and based on the only explicit statement ever made by Christ about the time of his return to gather them, as well as what can be understood from comparing and analyzing other passages about his return and the gathering of the saints, until after the 6th seal and, more specifically, at the 7th trumpet of the 7th seal.
Oh brother. Of course the church is not appointed unto wrath. Whose wrath? The wrath of God. So of course the rapture if BEFORE the wrath of God. This is how the pre trib lie goes. The church is not appointed unto wrath. Which is true. And then the deception. The tribulation is the wrath of God so the church won't be here on earth to see the tribulation. That is the lie most of the church has fallen for, A quiz for all the pre tribbers. Mat 24 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. Is this the wrath of God? Fifth Seal: The Cry of the Martyrs 9 When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” 11 Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, *****until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.***** Is this the wrath of God? Rev 17 I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with great amazement. Is this the wrath of God? Rev 13 7 It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. Is this the wrath of God? Rev 13 15 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. Is this the wrath of God? Rev 20 Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. Is this the wrath of God? Pre tribbers can't seem to tell the difference between the wrath of God and the wrath of Satan. They mix them up and confuse gullible Christians.
"Works vs faith" You are not going to settle anything because the apostles said both. James 2:17-19 New King James Version 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. 18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without [a]your works, and I will show you my faith by [b]my works. ......... But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is [h]dead? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? 22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made [i]perfect?
So many angry people against the pre-trib rapture when 1. Jesus did not behave like this, 2. It is not a salvation issue and 3. It proves we are in the end times, 2 Peter 3:3-7. John 13:35 "by this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love one for another". I wonder what an unbeliever would think about all your comments, after all, it is the lost that we are called to make disciples from. What sort of example are we?
Here is my question. WHY DO YOU CARE ? ? The rapture has nothing to do with salvation. It doesn't matter what ANYONE believes . But you guys find it far more important to argue this subject and cause division rather than preach the gospel. All while claiming to follow Jesus. who NEVER taught on it ! !
We care because it's in scripture. We care because it's our blessed hope. Paul clearly teaches a rapture. Timing is certainly debated but we will be caught uo to meet Him in the air. It sounds like you don't believe this. That's the rapture. Regardless of timing, that's the rapture.
@@drewhubbard9214 Far from your conclusion. I firmly believe in the rapture, AND I have a definite opinion on it's timing. BUT, I am sick of the arguing, The church today seems to only be looking for things to argue about. Just a GREAT witness to the world. So much for " love one another"

From Daniel Speck's “Seventh Trumpet Rapture: In the prophetic types of the Hebrew Scriptures”. An inexpensive book to own rather than what Lee is selling. God is clear there is no pre-trib in Joel: “The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, BEFORE the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.” (Book of Joel. This is the 6th Seal of Revelation). Notice the word “BEFORE”. The “great and the terrible day of the Lord” is His wrath. There is no wrath anytime before the 6th Seal. God is clear that the Tribulation is not His wrath, but rather a test. Elsewhere in scripture such as the prophetic Book of Job it is shown that Satan is the one who will instigate the test of the Tribulation. Rahab and her family: Type of the Church Jericho: The world Joshua: Christ Not mentioned by Pre-Trib and ignored Two Spies: Types of Two Witnesses in Revelation Seven Trumpets blown at Jericho: Seventh trumpets blown at Revelation. Israelites to shout at the final Trumpet: The Lord will descend with the voice of the archangel according to the Apostle Paul Seven marches around Jericho: Likely types of the seven seals Conclusion: The Church will be raptured at the Seventh Trumpet of Revelation when the Lord will come for his bride. Rahab is taken out at the Seventh Trumpet which is a shadow of the Seventh Trumpet of Revelation Judgement then falls on the world when the Israelites attack Jericho a type of the world. This is the bowls of wrath of Revelation. Also note that the rapture occurs after the Two Spies arrive at Jericho. Now lets do Lot: Sodom and Gommorah: Type of the world Lot and his family: Church Ignored by Pre-Trib and not mentioned by prophecy "experts": Two Angels: Types of the Two Witnesses in Revelation. Abraham asks God six times to spare cities: Six respites=six seals of Revelation. It was God who planted that idea inside Abe's mind. Conclusion: The Rapture can only occur after the Two Witnesses come. Sometime after the Rapture the judgement and wrath of God will come. Elijah also went up into the fiery chariot AFTER the persecution and famine which are a type of the Tribulation period. His rapture type is not supported by a pre-trib position.
Sigh, this grieves me so much. I see a lot of people who truly believe in the pre-tribulation rapture non-sense; that I am just at a loss for words. And although I have countered Lee's arguments on his own channel (which he has banned me from or hidden my comments from others, more than likely because he is afraid of the truth), I find it shocking that anyone can take him seriously, especially on the early church father's. I have no interest in rehashing how wrong he is on the early church father's in regards to the pre-tribulation rapture deception, because quite frankly it is easy to do a search and see for yourself what he says in regard to Irenaeus is just not true. Lee loves to twist scripture and take things out of context, and he does so with the early church fathers. Mainly because he has investigated all of this with a pre-tribulation mindset, seeing everything through that lens. Given the fact that Lee has blocked me on his channel and you all sing Lee's praises, I would not be shocked if my comment gets blocked. But if it doesn't, keep in mind that all of the smoke and mirrors in regards to Lee's assertion that the pre-tribulation rapture is not a recent invention is a moot point, given the fact that scripture does not point to a pre-tribulation rapture. This is damaging the church, setting up many believers to fall away from the faith when the pre-tribulation rapture does not occur. But here is the thing. If you want to believe in a lie, then go ahead, for God will give you over to that delusion if you want it so bad. It is up to you. God is not forcing the truth on you. You have a choice. Repent and turn away from this false doctrine, and embrace the true word of God.
Many would beg to differ! I've been watching and waiting for the pretrib rapture for exactly 50 years and it keeps me hoping and joyful and anxious to spread the gospel. Why would Jesus want his bride to go through Jacob's trouble? It makes no sense to me. Where is the blessed hope in that? 😊
I don't think the pre tribbers are going to fall away from the faith when the pre-tribulation rapture does not occur. They will finally know they have been lied to and deceived,
@ when it comes to 1 Thessalonians 4 it actually teaches a resurrection and not exactly a rapture as it does say 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. and not exactly that we are caught up to heaven 2 Corinthians 12 King James Version 12 It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord. 2 I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven. 3 And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) 4 How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter. 5 Of such an one will I glory: yet of myself I will not glory, but in mine infirmities.👆now here is a better version of a rapture and it doesn’t teach a resurrection✍️this is how I was caught up and it was scary and confusing but God knows what he is doing and I was shown things to come and they’ve been coming to pass exactly as God showed me
@ Revelation 11 14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly. 15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. 16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, 17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. 18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. 19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail. There’s another chapter showing these verses I’ll find it and share latter but things seem pre wrath to me and its Babylon that gets judged first , now exactly how God has things planned doesn’t make our private interpretation of thing correct
@ the guy on the right better start to understand the difference between good works in Christ Jesus and works of the law and his warning is in Mathew 5 he needs to be careful what he teaches
The Lord rebuke you Lee Brainard for teaching heresy. 2 Thessalonians 2:3-5 Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way. For that day will not come unless the apostasy comes first and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. He opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he sits in God’s temple, proclaiming that he himself is God. Don’t you remember that when I was still with you I used to tell you about this?
The man of lawlessness was revealed during the Reformation. It was that very fact that futurism, which developed into dispensationalism, was invented: to conceal his identity. The fact that he has already been revealed, though, does not justify the notion of a pre-tribulation rapture. What it does do is evidence that the great tribulation is already ongoing, just as Jesus said it would begin by the time of the siege of Jerusalem; therefore there cannot be a pre-tribulaton rapture.
Yep, he claims to "specialise in biblical languages" yet he consistently fails to to acknowledge and translate the conditional element in 2 Thess 2:3. Also, he never mentions his Greek academic credentials. Lastly, I called him out previously on his erroneous Greek exegesis
@@jamescole3152 Yes. Most, if not all, Protestant denominations stated that the Pope of Rome (i.e. the Papacy) was the antichrist in their formal printed confessions of faith until the end of the 1800s when dispensational eschatology, with its notion of a future antichrist, had strongly taken over.
The guy on the right is a total hypocrite.✍️works will never save anyone its is by God’s grace that we are saved and if you think works will save me you are wrong I am saved by God’s grace alone 1 Corinthians 15 King James Version 15 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: I definitely believe 💯
While what you say about the only way to be saved is true, your approach in rebuking the pastor on the right is lacking, and immature. Sorry, but true. The way you end your comment suggests that you have something to prove? Maybe to yourself? I don't know, I'm certainly not going to repeat what you did and falsely accuse someone of something. That's for you to sort out with God. I do know you're making unfounded accusations if you think what he said was "hypocritical" and you don't know the definition of "hypocrite", at least not by the way you used the word in this scenario. Look up the meaning of that word, and you might consider choosing a different way to accuse our brother in Christ. Also, you sound new to the faith? If this is true, you may want to spend some more time in the word, and it will help change your heart in a way so that when you disagree with someone, you can take an approach that will draw people closer to God, not risk pushing them away. @ Matthew 23 King James Version 23 Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples, 2 Saying The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat: 3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not. 4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. 5 But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments, 6 And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues, 7 And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi. 8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren. 9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. 10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ. 11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. 12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted. 13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in. 14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation. 15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves. 16 Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor! 17 Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold? 18 And, Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever sweareth by the gift that is upon it, he is guilty. 19 Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift? 20 Whoso therefore shall swear by the altar, sweareth by it, and by all things thereon. 21 And whoso shall swear by the temple, sweareth by it, and by him that dwelleth therein. 22 And he that shall swear by heaven, sweareth by the throne of God, and by him that sitteth thereon. 23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. 24 Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel. 25 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess. 26 Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also. 27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness. 28 Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity. 29 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous, 30 And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets. 31 Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets. 32 Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers. 33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell? 34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city: 35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar. 36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation. 37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! 38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. 39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord. Matthew 5 King James Version 5 And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him: 2 And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying, 3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. 5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. 6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. 7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. 8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. 9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. 10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. 13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. 14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. 17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. 21 Ye have heard that it was said of them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: 22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. 23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; 24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift. 25 Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison. 26 Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.
@EternityinOurHearts316 That's what I was wondering too, but elected, not to bring it up, since I didn't want to get into a senseless debate. That's why I chose to address their approach, which was relevant regardless of whether he said it or not. But thank you for asking the question because it's a good one.
I really don't care who came up with the pre trib rapture theory it is nonsense,. Not a single verse in the bible about a pre trib church or a pre trib rapture. The one and only church in the bible is the tribulation church,.
1 Thes 4:17 "when WE we who nare alive and remain", seems to indicate that Paul believed in a pretrib rapture but if you believe different things, no problem as that is not what saves us.
Lee was called out by Joel Richardson for lying about early church fathers! I commented earlier and it's not up here so it must have been deleted as I assume this one will too when it's seen..if not, let's juts be honest about things try so damn hard to prove anything about rapture It was just let it play out how it's going to play out! We all know that this big event happens (Rev 10:7) so let's follow the trumpet and see when exactly are ALL saints glorified as a family (Rev 11:18) hmmmm simple understanding about parousia and when the wrath of the lamb begins (6th seal) possibly..or as pre tribbers say before the 1st seal is opened. Yet John did not see this so he didn't write about this one which makes me wonder why??? Let us love one another and be one in Christ which is by for more important than when we leave this world
The problem with pretribulation rapture is that it's not biblical. It was never taught in the early church. And it comes from John Darby and Schofield. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 John 6:39,40,44,54. Revelation 20:6. Pretribulation rapture debunked
There is no "secret" Rapture. That word was added in an attempt to somehow disparage those who believe in the Rapture. Yes, we get the Rapture from the Bible. We even have the word mentioned in Greek and Hebrew: Harpazo / Rapturo, which means a sudden, forceful snatching, like a child pulling their child off a busy street to save them from danger. 1. The Bible teaches that Jesus can come at anytime for his church. The only way this happens is the Rapture. If we go through the Tribulation, we KNOW the timing - 7 years. 2. The Saints meet Christ in the air - that's the Rapture. 3. Christ's Second Coming - he lands on the earth, in Jerusalem. 4. The church is not mentioned after Revelation 4, I think it is. The church wasn't mentioned in the OT because it didn't exist yet. The church isn't mentioned after Rev 4 because it's not on earth. Note the change in terminology to Tribulation Saints. I've studied this subject since 1972. I've heard all of the arguments for and against the PreTrib Rapture. I am convinced that the Rapture is real. There is NO reason for the Church to go through the Great Tribulation. Yes, we will have tribulation - that's caused by MAN. The entire 7 year period is the Great Tribulation period- it is GOD'S wrath, not man's. God is getting Israel's attention first and the remaining Gentiles' attention, second. He promised that all Israel will be saved. Christ's sacrifice on the cross purified believers. There is no reason for the Church to go through the Great Tribulation. If there is... there's a HUGE problem.
@@EternityinOurHearts316 Jesus nor the apostles never taught of a pretrib secret rapture :) and they never talked about it... only the pretrib believers who talks about it which is unbiblical.

I never understood why would you go BEYOND WHAT IS WRITTEN to answer a question about WHAT IS WRITTEN? Why are you so excited about what an UNINSPIRED person wrote about the rapture? The INSPIRED WORD OF GOD is JUST THAT. I'm offended that your holding in HIGHER or at least EQUAL regard the writings of an UNINSPIRED SINFULL man to that of the ALMIGHTY GOD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST. I believe that the book HE WROTE says ALL that HE WANTED or NEEDED to say to us about tge RAPTURE. Dont go beyond WHAT IS WRITTEN 1 Corinthians 4:6

I enjoyed your podcast today and special guest.
Nope. They are deceiving the church, How is that great?

No mention of Jews. 1 Cors 15:13. 'But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised.'
Yes, Margaret really taught a partial rapture passage.
Wow. There's so much emotional opposition in this thread to the biblical pre-trib rapture! 2 Peter 3:3-4 coming true!
2 Peter 3:3-4
New King James Version
3 knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.”
So you insult the Christians who know the truth with this verse? It has absolutely nothing to do with a pre trib rapture. You should apologize for attacking the Christians who are telling you the truth.,
@jamescole3152 You call that an attack? And your name is James?
The Rapture is the end of the Church Age
Matthew 24:29-31 !?
2 Timothy 2:15 study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workmen that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Unless you do this you will thrown about with every wind of doctrine like scripture says in Ephesians 4:14. The word of God is clear about a pre trib rapture.
The word of God is clear about a pre trib rapture being the deception Paul warned the church not to fall for.
2 Thess 2
Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of [b]sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits [c]as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

Great tribulation timeline is as follows:
Start: By the time that Jerusalem was surrounded by the Roman army in 70 A.D. (cf. Matthew 24:15-21)
End: Immediately before Christ returns to gather the elect (cf.
It is all about Israel. See Daniel 9:24-27.
That is the lie most of the church has fallen for,

From Daniel Speck's “Seventh Trumpet Rapture: In the prophetic types of the Hebrew Scriptures”. An inexpensive book to own rather than what Lee is selling. God is clear there is no pre-trib in Joel:
“The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, BEFORE the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.” (Book of Joel.

Now lets do Lot: Sodom and Gommorah:
Type of the world Lot and his family: Church
Ignored by Pre-Trib and not mentioned by prophecy "experts":
Two Angels: Types of the Two Witnesses in Revelation.
@@jenr2180 The blessed hope is in Jesus return, not 7 years prior to the end, but at the end.

I don't think the pre tribbers are going to fall away from the faith when the pre-tribulation rapture does not occur. They will finally know they have been lied to and deceived,
It’s probably just your version of the rapture that is incorrect
Good response to that unusual, rather "accusatory" comment!
@ when it comes to 1 Thessalonians 4 it actually teaches a resurrection and not exactly a rapture as it does say 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
and not exactly that we are caught up to heaven
2 Corinthians 12
King James Version
12 It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.
2 I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.
3 And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;)
4 How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

Revelation 11
14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.
15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
@ one thing I know is that their whole end times story is all incorrect all a lie and not how God is going to do things
@ the guy on the right better start to understand the difference between good works in Christ Jesus and works of the law and his warning is in Mathew 5 he needs to be careful what he teaches
The Lord rebuke you Lee Brainard for teaching heresy.
2 Thessalonians 2:3-5
Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way.
Yep. But you know pre trib teachers twist every bible verse to try to make the pre trib rapture fit. But they can't do it.,

If youre not new to the faith, then you should know better. God bless.

Matthew 23
King James Version
23 Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,
2 Saying The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:
3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.
4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.
5 But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,
6 And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues,
7 And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.
29 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,
30 And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.
31 Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.
32 Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.
33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:
35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.
Matthew 5
King James Version
5 And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:
2 And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,
3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
21 Ye have heard that it was said of them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:
22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.
23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;
24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.
The Early Fathers did not hold to a pre-trib view. These quotes are taken out of context or fall short of what they wrote. Go read for yourself.

I don't understand how anyone can extrapate a pre-trib rapture from 1 Cors 4. A rapture, yes. A pre-trib rapture, no. Cheers
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Pro's.... Pro's of delusional doctrine.
pretrib secret rapture is nowhere written in the entire Bible :) it's a false hope...
