      Once its had its rubber coat inside it will be commissioned into to carring chemicals I believe. This 1 wasn't too bad apart from the boots and the usual fatigue after clinging onto a pipe pushing 10 bar at 600cfm 😬

    Hi there Mick , you can buy small blasting lights 12V that attach to the end of the hose , not on the nozel . and when you blast in confined spaces wrap duck tape around your anckels so the shot dont fill ya boots up ok , and you can buy online desposable overalls too they are called Tyvex you should be able to buy them over there i use 2 at a time keeps a lot of the dust from getting into your skin , plus i wear heavy cotton drill overalls .and the job your doing is a very good class 3 . great work

    • @Mobileblaster
      @Mobileblaster  2 роки тому +1

      Yeah the 12v lights thats offered for blasting hear are mega money (£300 plus lenses lens and battery then another line to power it). I've tried the paper suits they don't last very long but I've nether thort of using 1 under some overalls. Only trouble gearing up like that ya cannot move very well and feel uncomfortable with the heat. I had a clemco fire proof version of the blast suit was very good but they are expensive as well that was £500 in 2017 hate to price 1 up now 😂 defo going to try the duck tape trick 😂👍

    You certainly get some specialist jobs to do. Glad the work is still coming. Really interesting watching you do the different types of surfaces. I wonder if leather fire fighter boots would live through that type of situation.

      Oh 😂 your pic is similar to another guy call Jim or maybe not 😂 duno we're I got Jim from lol. They will be perfect for medium grade glass as they are super flexible just don't have much distance from the skin 😬 so they will come in handy (😏😂) and they wasn't too expensive so worth having on the van 👌

    What is the name of this device to which you connect the air hose to the compressor on one side and the helmet suit hose on the other side? Can you provide information where you can buy such a device and its price?. Because i am blaster Too and i have other type device to filter air into the helmet but sometimes inside my helmet a see a lot of wather with air.

      Clemco Cpf-20 their is loads of different ones to pick from I use this as I can nip and pick a cartridge up 10 miles away from my base. It's not advertised to breath compressed air you should always filter it the cartridge needs changing every 3 to 6 months or if you can smell a funny smell in the helmet bit like cat pee

    You refer several times in the video to steel shot but it is clear from the appearance of the blasted surface and the blast media itself that you are using steel grit not steel shot. They are very different and should not be confused. Steel shot is spherical. It does not have sharp edges and would not have have produced the rough surface that you got.

    • @Mobileblaster
      @Mobileblaster  2 роки тому

      Is the wording the same for glass because that's named bead? What profile would shot achieve more of a buff than a ruff bit similar to glass bead to crushed glass?

    • @Secession1900
