I'm either using Classic Chrome or Eterna as my base. However, I do most of my fine tuning through Lightroom - which ironically makes the Fuji film simulations useless to me 🥲
I don't know what they're on, but I see different. It's really a good lens. I'll let my photos do the talking and it should be enough to show its capabilities.
There have been 8 firmware updates since those reviewers touched it, including improvements to AF, OIS in general, OIS in video, aperture/exposure tracking in video, and exposure tracking during zoom, among other general fixes.
It really all comes down to your personal preference and what you do with photography. I've stuck with the 16-80 and it grew on me. Also, I like my zoom.
Freaking LOVE THESE!!! I kinda of hate when every image is extremely shallow depth of field which seems more common and very un inspiring/leaning on tech for the image. So all that to say Thank you and love these!!!! I only shoot primes but have been thinking about picking up a zoom for my xt5 =)
That’s where the zoom comes in. It’s versatile! 16-80 is perfect for anything. At least from my experience. I can imagine if i bought a few primes for my kit, the zoom would be on my cam the majority of the time. Others will say the opposite. And thanks for stopping by!! Cheers!
Glad to see you back man!
appreciate the support man. gonna try my best. 🤝🏽
Excellent lens indeed!
I'll be holding on to it for a long time! 💯
Damn, you have the good composition to begin with. Gorgeousss. May I know which film simulation you use as a base?

Most of the reviewers say this lens is trash.. i dont know what to say!

Should I sell my 90mm and keep the 16-80 or sell the 16-80 and keep the 90

Do you use diffusion or some other filter on these?
No diffusion or filters. Everything done in post.

Because this lens has an undeserved bad reputation, you can pick up a second hand one cheaply.
Yup, second hand cost will remain at it's range. I love this lens and see so much value in it.
