As a person who started listening to Set it Off 8 years ago, this album gives me a lot of nostalgia. I remember listening to songs like “wolf in sheep’s clothing” or “I’ll sleep when I’m dead” while thinking about my bullies. It gave me a lot of comfort that I’m not alone. Right now I have a lot of friends surrounding me and I’m a happy person. This band helped me survive the hardest times of my life, so listening to this song reminds me of these moments, and makes me proud of how far I’ve come. I’m glad there is a band like Set it Off. They saved a lot of people.
Eww, you made me realize that 2015 was 8 years ago. I found them around the same time and it has felt like it's been about half that. I do agree with what you mean by that though. They had definitely helped me not only identify toxic relationships I've been in, but my own toxicity also. Set It Off has helped me so much and are such lovely people, at least they were when I met them at shows.
