I came into the wrong genre, rather hear Pendulum and Aphex Twin where they had original samples and fucking Aphex had his own face in an oscilloscope if you played it through one.
@@ashFB2B well i guess its easier said than done, but eqing. there is alot of unnecessary lowmids on elements that dont really need it and while there is alot of harsh highfrequencies the real brilliant topend is missing adding to the dull mix. but yeah like 150-225hz is your biggest enemy. thats the stuff that gives percussion their punch but most other elements dont need it cause its a very unstable frequency region. Youre best of getting rid of that on anything that isnt percussion and substituting it with lowmids from a sub (which yours already has) and if you feel like you need the punch on like a bass or lead sound youre best of layering it with percussion, but then obviously you can adjust the length so the lowmids dont clog the entire sound. also some stereo eq wouldnt hurt. getting rid of unnecessary stereo frequencies. like the stereo lowend rumble that happens when you distort stereo elements that dont have lowend.
