Great review. I bought the MOTU M2 a few months back, and absolutely love it. I think it is ~$50 more than this one, so not quite as budget, but it offers 2 inputs that are both XLR and phono. I have been using Cakewalk as my DAW, and for free software, I am really impressed. Granted, it is Windows only. I would definitely love to see more content like this on your channel. Pedal reviews are awesome, but it is nice to see some additional gear reviews.
Want to start out cheap with my first time going from guitar to my laptop. I will be getting bias fx 2 standard. How will this work with the above mentioned software, and will I get it to a low enough latency to be unnoticeable?
it powers bayerdynamic T90 without a problem. and it is neutral, beuatiful souunding with t90, much better than about 20 other amps, dacs or interfaces i tried!
Actually this is one of the only usb audio interfaces in its price class that includes a loop back feature for OBS streaming so I’m sure it would be perfect for online guitar lessons.
Would this work just as an headphone amp when not connected to any PC/Mac/iOS device? Just with a usb for power of course. Have plently of old USB phone chargers around.

I got one of these works fine enough with reaper but when i try to pair it with video in obs video and obs crash anyone else have this problem? Everything previously worked in obs
Hello, I have a US 1x2 interface, but it does not connect to the PC, I have Win 10, the USB light blinks. I already reinstalled the drivers and nothing. What can I do? thank you
I made the mistake of buying a Tascam 2X2HR. First one of the input jacks failed and needed resoldering to the board. Then the headphone output died. As of now the unit will pass a signal into the computer but moitoring or listening via the 2X2 is not possible. All of this happened when the unit was just out of warranty. Conversely my Berhinger Euphoria is 10 years old and works fine. I wrote to Tascam about my expierence but never got a response. I'll never buy another Tascam product.

How about using the setup in the video?
You can hear a lot of "room" in the video. The sound is thin. Using the real setup might help.

Most audio IO’s with multiple inputs can multitrack. This one is a 1x2 (1 in, 2 out) so I don’t think so.

Not in the traditional sense as it doesn’t have phantom power on the second input. You would need a mic pre if you’re using a condenser mic

Do you know why the optios STEREO in the software for this model don't work? Is imposible, only capture the audio in MONO. :(

A little late now. But yes. You can, with the apple's camera kit connection. I'm using it with this specific model.
