Arturo was such a great guy. I was able to meet him at one of the Ramones tribute gigs and he invited me over to his apartment to purchase some stuff from the band. He told me a lot great stories and we had a lot fun in our own Mexican way. HEY HO LET’S GO!
Wicked video brother! Ironically, the wife and I both wore our Ramones shirts the same day last week. She was up and gone before I got up and she gets home and we're both wearing our Ramones shirts. Anyway, this video gave me all sorts of Ramones trivia tidbits I didn't know.
Bro, my Dad saw them at "cb's" with my uncles had took a 76 Chevy 4 door sedan in the middle of a snow storm, got stuck on the way out of Queens in to Manhattan, they got out in pushed/themselves to push, they got to the show in time, just so when they got back same spot as before. What a time
Yup, I'm in NB! Mind is Terrible Thing to Taste is probably my fav. Ministry album if I had to pick. If you dig Ministry you might like some of the tracks on the album like this one, currently working on a music video for it. ua-cam.com/video/djYR1de01fQ/v-deo.html
I worked for many years with Arturo and was a really close friend. Some facts are correct, but others are not. There're a lot of missing details and key information about how he created the logo. Arturo moved to San Francisco first, then to NY. The seal is not based on the presidential one. Arturo bough the polyester shirts directly from a polish friend, the chosen font was not related to El Nacional, and so on. Thanks for keeping Arturo's memory alive.
@@diegocorral7468 Man that is really cool, I absolutely did not know that. They seem to have their own little video with Lance explaining it better than I ever could. Super appreciate the suggestion nonetheless! ua-cam.com/video/Y7edXVFLP-Y/v-deo.html
I wondered the same thing, I'm going to guess that Joey, Johnny and Dee Dee were the only ones who were around longer than he was? Maybe someone will know.
Ramones are just awesome. Saw them 3 times. Give Ritchie some T-shirt money! You know who has an interesting logo? Angel. Whoever designed that is genius. You can turn it upside down and it says Angel as well.

Some new stuff for sure. Love the compact format.

Thanks pal, appreciate you watching!
Suicidal Tendencies? 🖤
Killer band! Is there a backstory to their logo? I thought it was just some cool letters (I've never looked into it).

Another solid video. I wonder why Arturo opted to replace Tommy's name with his in the back piece.

@@SlashdanceTommy was the last one of the original members to pass away. That's not the reason why Arturo replaced Tommy's name for his.
Wish I still had the shirt I got when I saw them in New Orleans in 1990, sadly Dee Dee had already left the band by then
Still rad IMO, I'm a big CJ fan!
