    they sound like east lothian haddington st mary which are john warner and sons tenor 11-1-20cwts

    Why does the treble have a tiny red bit on the Sally? Is that so the locals can say "the treble is the one with the red bit on the Sally"?

      Think it might be tape some Sally's wear out on the bottom so they tape it

      Sorry just looked at it closer it does seem like there is a bit of red in it

      It says in the description that new tail ends and top ends were added maybe the old rope was red then they put it on the blue one maybe

      So that those who ring by ropesight have an extra reminder that they are passing/dodging with the treble.
