It’s the same for the people who bought the house from Hocus Pocus, they’ve had to put signs up telling people not to knock the door or stand on their porch.
The owners of Casey Becker's house kept the swing which is hanging from a tree in the front yard, as a souvenir from the filming. The owners of Stu's house from the end of the movie had full scale tours of their home a few years ago for a small fee, a friend of mine went and said it was worth every penny. Great job Michael and Jessica.
I got to go into the Tatum house because I was working with the Scream Comes Home event. They did actually film in the house. The scene where Sidney stays with Tatum and Ghostface calls her was filmed upstairs. Still looks identical.
They did one final event where you were able to party there one night and after that the owners moved back in now only hosted big weddings on the property. My wife and I attempted to drive up to take pics but the owners were home and we got nervous and left

My grandma rented it from Blockbuster, and me ,her and my little brother went and got Pizza Hut and we all watched it. I was probably 5 or 6 at the time and now I'm 31

Scream is at the top of the list for horror films for me. Its not even that scary, It just always gives me that nostalgia feeling when I watch it. Brings back a lot of memories. Ive also been scream for halloween maybe 5 times in my lifetime.
Scream, A Nightmare on Elm St and Friday the 13th are my 3 favorite movie franchises. With as much as you were not allowed to film, you were still able to film things I haven’t seen in other Scream movie location videos. You guys did an amazing job, and as always, I appreciate Jessica acting out the scenes. Lol
I remember when they where filming the movie in my hometown of Healdsburg. Big crowds at the Healdsburg Plaza watching them film the scene on their "Lunch Break". Good video!
When I watched “scream” the first time it was at the first home I ever owned myself and I was there that night with my youngest son, who was pretty much a new born at the time. It was off a main road way down in the woods. We had no neighbors around back then and I remember being scared to even look out the windows that night after i finished watching it lol. My grandmother happened to call later on and check on us and I jumped so bad when the phone rang it would have been hilarious if anyone had been watching lol. Anyway thanks for another great location video you two. I gotta say I love Jessica’s scream outfit. The hat just sets it off perfectly. Take care you guys 👋🏻

Great video! I drove past Sydney's house back in 2016 when my wife and I were in Cali for our honeymoon (didn't realize until after I checked my Google Map Timeline). That road is one long winding downhill road towards Santa Rosa.

So cool! I like the Jamie Kennedy intro! Nice touch. I remember seeing ‘Scream’ in a theater when it was released and it definitely scared me! I was just 17 and my date insisted we smoke weed before going into the theater! Lol I wanted to impress him, so I did and got super sketched out. The Drew Barrymore opening scenes were terrifying! We had to move to the very back of the theater at one point because the people sitting behind us kept screaming and I was so freaked out from the weed, the movie and them kicking our seats and screaming. The whole theater was full of energy. I actually felt safer with a wall behind my seat! Haha Ah memories... I’ve been a long time Wes Craven fan thanks to the ‘Nightmare on Elm Street’ films, so I appreciate this video. The ‘Scream’ movies bring back so many memories. It’s hard to believe so much time has passed since then, but it’s great to see that most of the filming locations still remain! Thank you so much, Michael & Jessica! I think Jessica is absolutely unique, and yet there is something familiar about her. My son’s wife is the human version of a Siamese cat. You will never see or hear her unless it’s absolutely silent and still, but when you catch that rare glimpse …………she is invariably listening to some weird emo/punk band at 190 dB. 😂

My brother is one of the paramedics at the end of the movie loading the actor into the ambulance.The production team called the station he worked at and asked for two paramedics to work on scene. My brother thought he was there to post in case someone got hurt. When he got to the house Wes Craven shook his hand and told him he was going to be IN the movie! My brother said Wes Craven was a genuinely very nice man.
Just recently discovered this channel and i instantly needed to sub! its been a dream to travel the country and check out some places from movies. You guys should travel to some Texas Chainsaw massacre locations, probably my favorite horror films!!

Some of the cast was there and a lot of fans and they did a showing of the first film. That’s strange that they wouldn’t allow you to check it out for you’re video.
While I can respect the need for privacy, and the need to protect ones self from crazy people, I really wish the people who owned these houses would let fans of the movie see them and enjoy them. Again, I understand it's a home but still...I feel like its robbing the fans. You dont want to live in a screen used home then dont buy it. That's just me though.

This was fantastic. I love stuff like this. I’m in the UK, and just the other week drove to see Peter Sutcliffe’s (the Yorkshire ripper) house. There’s something fascinating about being in the same spot that something historical happened. Are you considering doing more scream locations? I guess 3 would be difficult with mostly LA interiors. But 2 and 4 would be interesting to see :)

One of my favorite movies of all time. Partly because of the filming locations and the atmosphere of the movie. I wanted to live there so badly. I’ve since visited wine country multiple times and it sadly doesn’t have a creepy mid-90s vibe like I’d hoped.

That’s weird that they didn’t let you go inside Stu’s house. They had it up for rent on AirBNB and specifically said it was the SCREAM house.

This was fantastic. I love stuff like this. I’m in the UK, and just the other week drove to see Peter Sutcliffe’s (the Yorkshire ripper) house. There’s something fascinating about being in the same spot that something historical happened.
Are you considering doing more scream locations? I guess 3 would be difficult with mostly LA interiors. But 2 and 4 would be interesting to see :)

Cool intro by Jaime Kennedy. I already subbed to his channel since last year. Awesome you got him to open up this bts for Wes Craven's Scream. He has bts stories of 1 & 2. Truly the plot twist at the end of Scream did surprise me. The theater I watched it the audience was loud. In a fun way. Happy Halloween, Mikey grimm and Jessi ghoul!
One of my favorite movies of all time. Partly because of the filming locations and the atmosphere of the movie. I wanted to live there so badly. I’ve since visited wine country multiple times and it sadly doesn’t have a creepy mid-90s vibe like I’d hoped.
That all died around 2007/08 when they most of sonoma county switched to catering the wine lovers....
This is my favourite movie and I’ve seen the locations before, but you guys show them of the best and give the best details about everything!! ❤️☎️😱🔪

To be fair, the movie is about serial killers and the sequels were about people trying to relive the movie. So I too wouldn’t want fans coming by with their cameras lol.
