Feddie, just made a whole bunch of these for Christmas presents. I left off the bottle caps because I'm not sure what everyone would prefer- of course I'm sure its miller though. Thanks for posting and inspiring my version!
The nail+magnet idea to get the epoxied pieces in place is genius. I'll be using that method in the future. Thanks for the video man, keep up the badass work!
It was nice meeting and talking to you over this past weekend (Woodworking conference) I am really enjoying your videos especially this one. The way you used the magnets not only in the opened but using them to hold and place the bottle caps was awesome! great job!
You've outdone yourself again, rare earth magnets? I love DIRESTA , but this is a step above, also lets call it what it is...its a beer opener!! I still want me a Feddystool table. Enjoy a great southern new year!!!
good video to end out a good. I want to say I have truly enjoyed all your videos and or talks through out the year. Wishing you and your family a great 2016.
+Milton Fludgecow Thanks Milton. I was thinking today that we need to catch up soon. It's been a while. Hope your well. I'll holler at you soon or you holler at me when you get a chance.
Bar aqui da frente tem um bem mais simples e barato. Ítens: cabo de vassoura cerrado, um parafuso e uma cordinha pra prender na parede. Como fazer: enfia o parafuso no cabo de vassoura e esta pronto! Arromba ate porta Bar in the front has a much simpler and cheaper. Items: closed broom handle, a bolt and a cord to attach to the wall. How to do it: thread the screw on the broom handle and you're done!
You could have glued magnets in the center of the drill-outs for the bottle caps rather than gluing in the caps themselves. Then you could easily change out the caps depending on your current favorite beer.
Great video on your bottle opener. I really like the magnet idea on the top side of the opener to hand on the refrigerator. Hope your new year goes well for you.
I like your incorporation of caps as decoration. Do you discuss your metal bandsaw table anywhere (a search on your channel didn't turn up anything). I'm contemplating buying one of those small units, but I would want to mount it as you have.
+Marty Backe thanks Marty! Been meaning to tell you that your review of the PM1500 helped lead me to purchase one. The information was helpful in my decision so thanks much. Here's a link to the portaband table: www.swagoffroad.com/SWAG-Portaband-Tables-Accessories_c_35.html
Another cool project Blazzin' have enjoyed watching all of your videos ... Especially your pole barn from planning through construction ... Btw aren't we do a final video on the pole barn ?? Thanks again for putting these out there ... Hope you have a happy and healthy new year :)
Could this be made into a double shafted bottle opener much like your bent ring finger push stick? I mean sometimes you need to open two bottles at once. Asking for a friend.
A couple things..... 1. What are those grey boxes with the green latch at 1:24 ? HAHAHA! 2. Does your throat hurt? You don't like talking to us anymore? I love the outtakes at the end of your videos brother. 3. Great video ! Honestly, this video comes at a perfect time for me. I'm currently building a bar cart for my Uncle. It will have all kinds of beer caps epoxied on the top. Now I'm thinking this bottle opener would be a nice gift for him when I send him the bar cart. I'm going to have to try to make one. Thanks for posting. Now, if you're going to be using those German tools, You'll need to start drinking German beers ! LOL ! Take care man, HAPPY NEW YEAR ! Eric
+MrBigerock Come on now, Eric. You know what those green boxes are. Your'e part of the reason I caught that bug. Hahaha Seriously, glad the vid was timely and gave you some ideas! thanks for checking in!
+blazingnailgun Just got done watching the second time. You 2 fisted yourself at the end. Did you drink both beers? And, are your hats for sale? I don't see them on your website. Or am I blind?
Ha. Yep, nothing went to waste. :-) I just got those hat recently. The folks who did my logo had them made for me. I'd like to make up a bunch myself but I don't know much about doing that stuff. If you know where to point me I'll get on it!
+blazingnailgun I have a buddy who owns a PIP printing shop. They are nationwide. Maybe you could check and see if they are in your area? That's all I know about that kind of stuff. One more question and I'll leave you alone. What gauge nail did you use for the opener?
Hooooola los felicito kiero aprender más un 7. Un abrazo desde acá de chile querido 😊
That is probably the coolest bottle opener I have seen. Thank you for posting videos of GOOD craftsmanship.
Feddie, just made a whole bunch of these for Christmas presents. I left off the bottle caps because I'm not sure what everyone would prefer- of course I'm sure its miller though. Thanks for posting and inspiring my version!
That's awesome man. Send me some pics. blazingnailgun@gmail.com
The nail+magnet idea to get the epoxied pieces in place is genius. I'll be using that method in the future. Thanks for the video man, keep up the badass work!
+Tyler Patterson Thanks!
Yup made one of these for my brother a few years back. I like the idea of the under magnet and the caps. Think its time for round 2 now.
+Jeremy Lakose Yes!!! Thanks for watching. Glad it gave you some ideas and inspiration!
+blazingnailgun Now that I get to thinking about it, didn't I hear you mention you were from Iowa at one point?
+blazingnailgun
VOLS FAN?
Остается только порадоваться за мужика, что у него столько свободного времени 😄👍
Finally something truly useful!!!! Nice job.
+1kenkelly Thanks!
this will be my first woodworking project, but I haven't got all the bandsaws etc so gonna have to try with basic handtools and multi tool
One handsaw, a couple of pieces of sandpaper, a hammer, a nail, and a piece of scrap wood are enough to make this basic design.
Parabéns pelo trabalho e arte, muito lindo, embora não tão eficiente, mas isso não tira a magnitude de seu trabalho.
It was nice meeting and talking to you over this past weekend (Woodworking conference) I am really enjoying your videos especially this one. The way you used the magnets not only in the opened but using them to hold and place the bottle caps was awesome! great job!
Another Damn fine reason to open a Beer !!!
+BackToTheBus Hahaha. Yes!!!! Thanks for watching.
You've outdone yourself again, rare earth magnets? I love DIRESTA , but this is a step above, also lets call it what it is...its a beer opener!!

Parabéns pelo trabalho! Ficou exelente. Um visual rústico e ao mesmo tempo elegante. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

But in 50₹ there are many more bottle openers available worldwide.
