Found this channel the other day and Thick Riff Thursday is quickly becoming one of my favourite things to watch. Super fun watching you come up with these big groovy riffs and seeing it all come together.
As someone who has been playing guitar fairly casually for many years, this series has made me want to take a dive into producing. Love the content! keep it up!
Absolutely love this weeks episode, you really kill it in that tuning man! Can next weeks episode be you turning this into a whole song? I'd love to see your process and how you make it flow effectively. I always find myself caught in riff salad mode and can never connect ideas fluently
i love your videos! keep it up the good work :) I think i change my workflow writing songs :D You inspired me working more with my DAW instead writing stuff in Guitar Pro! Greetings from Germany
Found your channel recently and I’m really enjoying your vids! I make electronic music but it’s super interesting to watch another producer make a genre that I don’t typically listen to much
Please keep these coming, I really dig your videos and actually I learn a lot from them. I recently started to put my ideas into a song but I’m struggling like a pig on ice 😂
Year late, but IF WE WANT TO TECHNICAL, it’s technically the tool tuning for this video because it’s BADGBE, to my knowledge tool was the earliest to use this tuning. But it’s all just messing great video from the past of thick riff

Was gonna comment the exact same thing!
I found him back when he did a cardi B djent cover and it was badass
the rick beato edit is sending me 🤣
I love this once a week to find a guy in his little studio just jaming out to nothing but his own stuff. Very encouraging.
No sesh is complete without Trader Joe’s Blueberry Lemonade Sparkling Water.

you should man, its pretty low barrier for entry and most of the skill still comes from creating music and not so much using a computer. Its great.
i just found out about this channel and im loving it!! it makes me wanna finish my own projects lmao
Same
This has to be the nastiest breakdown in thick riff history. I always find myself coming back to this video over and over. What a build up.
Wooooooo it’s Thick Riff day!!!
I'm happy you started Thick Riff Thursday, since a good amount of people (including me) found you through it. I really like your stuff, keep it up!
The thickness of this riif is soo much that i almost cant handle, BONK!
THICC RIFF THRUSDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dude this series is golden! Have watched them all so far, please keep it up!
Sooooo thick bro. That ending CHUNKS🤘🤘
Now. I couldn't do any better. BUT. With those ending chugs, I can hear how sexy some pick scrapes would be in there.
Came here for the guitar, stayed for the bass

currently moshing in my living room
wooowww 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
God it’s so filthy I love it. I LOVE IT!!!!
Yeah its crazy how low and good a 6 string can sound at the same time
Great content as usual
Ayo not the rick beato reference.... 😭😭😅😅
Marc Okubo vibes going on here, super tasty!
That would be sick if that drop part had a chromatic decent from those strings letting that next section really chug
oh yeah it's time to get thicc
like that.
Ur funny as hell man, i like u lol
Are you particular about fretboard radius at all? Fun video!
Mad thicc
why rick beato! lol 🤣
Steambreather by mastodon has such a sick guitar tone, just had to say that
😂 the only 6 string anything I want in my life anymore is a *bass*
nice latest videos
...and Rolo Tomassi tuning
Oh Sleeper uses this tuning also…

Three whammy pedals still isn't enough
