Hello. I have Chrysler Voyager 2001, 2,4 l, AT A413, 3 speed Gear box. The bearing on the right side of the differential makes a noise. I bought a new bearing and ready to replace. I have a question - do I have to addjust the bearing with additional metal washers or it's a wrong way I think? Thank you for help.
+Gary Ferraro The engine is the non turbo 2.5 in a Utilimaster Aeromate. It's a utility vehicle similar to a UPS truck, half the size, currently functioning and used daily as an ice cream truck. It has a trans cooler. I'm going to rebuild another core. I need reliability, toughness and longevity. What would you suggest for top quality components or other suggestions? Thanks.
i am new to rebuilding automatics and wanted to know how you clean your parts. is it safe to wash everything in a "better engineering" spray cabinet at 175 degrees. I have only been putting the main housings and metal hard parts in. Do you see any problem with doing the pump parts and valve body in the spray cabinet? thanks.
+Gary Ferraro its a powered soap, no acids, can't think of the name but i guess my main question is do you wash your pumps and valve bodys and valves in it. certainly not the electrical pieces correct? using alot of brakleen which as you know is costly and hard on the hands.
+jspat67 I dont put valvebodies in the tank, pump body and gears are ok, but if the stator support has valves located in it, i dont put those in either.
@@jefferywarburton2116 I just ran the stat's on the car it comes up with either the 31th or the 41TE, what do you have on your shifter just D,2,1 or does the D have a circle around it?
I like the fact that there is no chain in this one chains stretch gears are noisy I know but reliable

The valve that floats, i grind 3 "ridges" equally spaced apart, usually works ok and flush out the cooler with a hot oil machine

They usually do not have to be shimmed

+jspat67 What is the chemical used to clean, in my big wash tank, i use a special soap and water(water heats up to 180)
