Between your voice and relaxing music I just got a good 30 minute nap. Thank you.
That’s so nice tysm 🤍
Never really been into gel x. It seems like a glorified press on lol BUT that “gap between the cuticle and extension trick” ABSOLUTELY CHANGES THE GAME!! LOVE IT!!❤
🤍
I’m watching because i just ordered so much stuff and i gotta perfect it first try . New subbie ❤
Thanks for subbing! 🌺🤍
Same here
Yay! Thank you for being here🌺🤍
@@kidadafranklin2 did you order on Amazon?
Me too been practicing to do my own
Never thought to put dehydrator on the nail tips. Game changer. I’m a newbie and this was the best video so far. Thanks
Thank you so much ☺️🤍
It's always a good time here 😊
I'm a long time DIY nail girl and must say you do BEAUTIFUL nails. Your attention to detail and perfection is impressive. I'm the same and so I really appreciate seeing videos showing how much details matter and make a difference. Well done!😊
Thank you so much!🤍
Thank you for this video. I was looking all over UA-cam on how to do this overlay method. I have the Apres nails too and some don’t fit sidewall and this is the method that was recommended. Thank you 🙏🏾
Would you ever make a ‘ how to do nails on your dominant hand with your non-dominant hand ‘ video please 🙏🏾?
I absolutely loved this video, it was so relaxing, clean cut, everything was perfect. God bless you ! 🩷
Oops, I just saw that you have one 😅, lemme go watch it. Thank you for your video ! 🩷🩷🩷
Hi! Lol I was just about to share it with you ☺️🤍
Very calm tutorial and informative. I feel chilled out and ready to put this to the test today. Thank you 🙏🏻 ❤🇬🇧
Thank you so much🥹🤍
I love gel X I use them making press on thanks for showing your technique ❤
I agree they are great for press ons and thank you for watching ☺️🌺🤍
I thoroughly enjoyed the breakdown and visuals! Thank you sis!! 👏🏽
Thank you for watching 🌺🤍
The next video I would love to see is filling these nail after 3 week growth with the builder gel. I adore how you used the builder gel overlay!!!
I now know the proper way to use what I bought. I almost gave up on doing my nails anymore. Thank you so much for you time and showing me how to do it right!!!!! 😊❤🎉
Coming soon!🤍
This was an excellent step by step video. Just getting into the nail game and your videos are a BIG help! Keep going love!
🌺🤍
@JourneyswithJai Question, if you can help. I notice my builder gel ( I use Beetles) doesn't cue. Why is that. When I do my nails without it it's less Hassel for everything to cue.
It’s not curing in your lamp? I’ve never heard of that before I would reach out to the brand to see why that may be. Sorry that’s happening.
Excellent Tutorial!!
TYSM 🌺🤍
Hey girly! Would love to learn how to do a Russian gel-x French mani (the thin lined French mani) from you ❤
very beautiful video, and your voice is so soothing. 🥰👩🏾🦲😘
Thank you so much ☺️🤍
Hello, im a beginner. I have been doing gel-x method. It is sometimes hard to determine how much glue gel to use but i know practice makew perfect. I just love how patient you are and helpful with your videos ❤
Hi, absolutely it's trial and error and I still mess up and redo stuff. lol You got this take your time.... practice makes perfect ☺️🤍
Excelent video, love the the nails❤, in few segments the music overpowers your voice.
Very nice tutorial
Thank you ☺️🌺🤍
As always, I 🫶🏽 your videos!! I also purchased “b072 Pink Champagne” because of watching your videos and it’s one of my favorite Beetles polishes! It’s the perfect cover nude polish for my skin tone, as I’m a bit darker than you.
Thanks! 😊
I do have a question……
I usually use primer to etch underneath my Gel X nails instead of using an e-file to etch and to also help with adherence, but you used a dehydrator. Do you like using a dehydrator more….does it work better than a primer?
I’m curious! 🤔💭
Hi, if the primer works for you there is no need for the dehydrator during that step I have used a few different methods but I tend to reach for the dehydrator more. ☺️🤍
Your videos are so informative. Greatly appreciated. Do you have a link or can you advise were to find the cre8tion extend gel?
Thank you so much! Unfortunately no link yet but will keep looking 🤍
Hello I’m new to doing my nails at home but never tried builder gel before. What’s the purpose?
❤❤
I would love to see a full builder gel set! Also, interested to know if you have any techniques for making it easier, like maybe using builder gel with dual forms or plastic tips?
Hi, I prefer tips over forms and this is a great suggestion! 🤍
What are plastic tips? Sorry new to this. The ones shown in the video, are those plastic tips or gel x?
@palestar828 hi I’m not sure what plastic tips are. I was referring to regular gel tips I think that is also what they could’ve been referring to. ☺️
@JourneyswithJai thank you. There really is so much to learn on the different application methods. It's confusing sometimes lol great video by the way! This video has inspired me to get back into doing nails!! I really want to try this technique. Thank you for the helpful tutorial and for clearing that up!
Question: How do you remove the builder gel without over filing?
Hi 👋 love you videos can you more on filling in gel x
Hi, yes coming soon🤍
Hi I love your videos what is ur efile settings when working with your filing ? Also if I make a mistake while designing my nail with polish let’s say a French n I mess up a line what should I use to fix it n restart without messing up my first layer of polish??
are you using gel? if so, after curing your first layer of polish, if you start your second layer and mess up you can just remove with nail polish remover.
Why do you use a builder gel instead of putting the tip to the cuticle? Just learning, thank you! 💜
I guess it makes it more seamless from what I could gather. I'm just learning this as well. I'm also thinking that it is easier to fill that gap when the nail grows out. It's a great question and the first I had since seeing this method
Omg how many times did u apply it
❤❤❤

Thank you for subscribing ☺️🤍
Hey. So I've been watching your videos over and over since yesterday lol. In this video I belive you use a base coat before adding the gel extend and the nail tip, in another video that doesn't involve the overlay method you use no base coat. What do you recommend if I do the overlay method? Base coat on natural nails or no base coat? Currently loading up my Amazon cart with your recommendations as I'm done paying 95 for acrylic refills
Hi, yes, I typically do not use base coats, but I’m trying to get more into utilizing the base coats that I have as gel typically calls for basecoat, but it is not necessarily needed for the overlay method to last. 🤍
Girl I've been paying $130 for my nails. This year I'm looking elegant with wisdom.
Can you give us a polygel tutorial??
Hey girl, love your work. Im new at gel x, how long should i be taking to apply on a client....because 5hours aint it😢
This is so me 😓
To apply just the full coverage tips (not painting or nail art etc) should only take a few min. Where do u feel like u r struggling? Like too much adhesive gel/not enough, or getting the tips straight, etc.
It does take a lil practice but maybe I can share some tips (even tho u weren't asking me 😬 sorry! I just noticed she wasn't able to get back to u yet!)
@@leahyvonne1572 Ahh thank you so much. I think my application is the problem. I take too long with nail prep and tip prep. Then sticking the glue to on takes a while. I'll definitely practice more to build my confidence. 💪🏾
Would you recommend getting the UV gloves if I don’t do my nails often?
It’s not necessarily needed but it’s good to have. Me on the other hand since I change my nails a lot definitely need them😅
Oh ok thanks 😊
Apply sunscreen I’ve heard helps as well.
Please can u shear hiw u edit am currently using my phone n am having problems... if u don't mind please am using my phone to record
Hello!! I love your videos!! I have a question, what percent alcohol do you use? I use 91% and it made like white dry spots and lines underneath my nail tip. Any suggestions?
Hi,
I use a 70% isopropyl alcohol, it can remove the shine but usually goes away once I wash under my nail tip with a nail brush. 🌺🤍
Ok thank you
Nice work ,where can i get the product u are using?
Hi
I have everything linked in the description box under products used 🤍
7:38 why do you use the big lamp instead of a UV / LED lamp? for example the one from modelones ?
The big lamp is a UV/LED lamp
Can I use a regular nail file instead of a nail drill? I’m not too comfortable using a drill yet.
Yes you can absolutely use a hand file instead of an e file 🌺🤍
Ok thanks ❤
Cannot find the link to the product, Cre8tion gel soft tips extend gel adhesive gel. Can you send one in the reply?
Is this the new version of the same product you love to use?
Brand: Cre8tion
Cre8tion Tip Extension Primer for Soft Gel Tips 0.5oz
What are the gloves for? Do you remember them?
Protection for the hands from the uv light. It darkness the hands over time
Is it possible to buy your systeem for nails in the Netherlands?? 🤞hope so🤞
I'm not completely sure when it comes to international shipping honestly but if you have amazon it should be available I hope. 🤍
No it's not possible 😢
I can’t get my gel x to last over 2 weeks, starting to get discouraged.
What brand are u using?? Try getting the apres brand. And if you do not have a hema allergy then get the original application gel that apres makes. They make a hema free gel to apply their extensions, but hema is used to get better adhesion to the nail.
@@denisemattingly7389 this is the only brand/kind I use
Quick question, i think i know the answer, but just wanna make sure. How come base before? -❤NURSEMJ
I burn through my nail all the time 😭 and when I don’t I over file, I just feel like the surface of my nail is too smooth or something. Nothing ever sticks to them. 😅
