The pharmacy stamp set is amazing!!! Beautiful designs and they really come out so exceptionally well on the paper. So detailed and precise, no smudging or faint parts. Applause to the designer and maker of the pharmacy stamps!
Yeah they really are next level.
The row of test tubes would be such a cute way to show a small sample of your currently inked for the month on your monthly spread in the notes!
Love this haul.. haven’t gotten into stamps yet, help me once I do 😁
Love the apothecary stamps, the truck stickers, and the pen/nib combo!
Stamps are a lot of fun. Once you accept that it can get a little messy - but with good ink and awareness - you can keep things pretty clean… but things happen.
Great haul! I love that flex nib, it's gorgeous! I am intrigued by the wood pharmacy stamp because of the fact that it references Alliance, OH, and I live twenty minutes from there. I will now deep dive into researching if this was a real pharmacist! Thanks for sharing your haul!
The flex nib was something that I was not expecting to love as much as a do, but the EF flex… perfect. Let me know what you find out. That would be so cool if there was actual connection.
The delta pen looks amazing!
Right, such a good one to have in the collection. And the nib is so nice.
Great haul! That pen is GORGEOUS! I don't own any by Delta. Now I'm thinking I might have to get one. 😅
Btw, the brand of your new ink is Taccia. Roughna is the line. Definitely, a great color. It wasn't until I got into watercolor that I realized I love earth tones, so I'm definitely drawn to similar colors when it comes to fountain pen inks. Thanks for the wonderful video!
Oh thank you… you mean the other name on the box. Haha. I miss the easiest things. I actually know of the pen company already - now I feel dumb.
I was going to go buy that pharmacy set of stamps. Shipping to planet Pluto (Canada) is stupid! I’m going to go cry! Very fun haul and I enjoyed watching your excitement!
It makes me so sad when shipping is so much money! The set set is amazing. I always think, if shipping a major issue for me, I’d bundle up and split the shipping with someone… or just save up a bunch, buy it lol and use a code to make me feel like I’d offset the cost
@@markyourpages I’d love to split with someone but I don’t know anyone involved with calligraphy. One catch on just saving or just ordering becomes the dollar exchange and possibly duty. This one stamp set would end up over $130 I think.😢😢
Those first two stamps would be so awesome for a 30 days of ink. Recently found your channel and loving it. Keep up the amazing videos. Fun new pen.
Thanks so much! 😊 So glad we found each other.
Those stamps are so amazing but not as much as your way of using them in combination to create something even more comprehensive! After this video I’m no longer seeing them as a standalone sticker type dealeo, I’m going to try combining them to see what else can achieve (like LEGO blocks)
Thanks for checking it out. Yeah, finding multi uses for stamps just makes them even more fun. It's great when you can find a similar style so it all can work together even if it's not sold together.
You make me want to dive into fountain pens and ink. I love your enthusiasm 😊
There are great baby step products out there. I have such a love and admiration for pens and inks. It’s just so fun to talk about.
The Vintage Pharmacy stamps are awesome.
So good, right. Cant wait to use them more.
Love your haul. That pen is excellent! The ink brand is actually Taccia. Go look at their pens.
Thank you! Omg, i feel like a dummy. I know them and their pens. They are amazing.
The stamps are really calling to me. Thanks to you, I can confidently place stamps in my journals and use them for my ink swatches. That color, Woody Brown, looks amazing next to your other colors.
Pip Stickers are just so fun.
Pharmacy stamp set. I have decor in my home like that so it would be cool to do in my planner also.
Oh that’s so cool. A perfect pair.
The vintage pharmacy stamps are gorgeous
I am really in love.
@4:41 love the way you swatched that!!!
It’s such a fun process or those swatches. And they always come out so cool.
I love all the things in this haul.
high fives all around.
Do those cactus stickers mean you are no longer drawing cacti? 🤣🤣Those stamps are gorgeous, though. I'm thinking that little steel box would be great to keep my 3 Kaweco Sport pens. 🤔 [I haven't gone "all-in" on fountain pens ~yet~ b/c I know I'd end up with too much ink lol ]
HAHA, yes! Staying far away from hand drawn ones. That would be a great use for the box. I am looking into some more "secure" options for inside. I am sure someone sells or I can make an insert to hold them.
I also prefer vintage over cute, but vintage a little harder to find in the stationary world. The vintage pharmacy is awesome. TFS
Vintage is actually quite easy to find in the stationery world. It just depends on what you're looking for (real vintage ephemera or vintage-looking ephemera), where you shop, and how much you're willing to spend. Small business-owned shops (especially those on platforms like Etsy and sometimes Ebay) yield better results for vintage ephemera than big box stores like Michael's and Jo-Ann's, but may have slightly higher prices. Additionally, many Asian-based businesses tend to cater to more cutesy (Kawaii) stationery items versus American and European-based businesses.
YES! I think that is where I am too. Cute is nice… but not my deal usually - so give me that vintage cool all day.
My favorite is the toyo steel box. i love stuff like that
Yeah I love a good box - and make it steel and blue. Instant winner
Well, now you've gone and done it! Although I'm a newb, I was already wandering around the fountain pen rabbit warren, dragging my teeny, tiny stamp collection behind me, plus a bottle of Ancient Copper ink. Then this post, which connects all the dots. Yes, the pharmacy stamps are fire, but the pen with the extra-fine flex nib is fiery-er. I had no idea before this post about its existence. Now I can't un-see it. I will have it. Someday. Thanks, Mark. My "no-spend month" is hereby officially in the rear-view mirror. There's always July... TFS (sigh).
I have a really bad habit of throwing no buy months off… even for myself
@@markyourpages OK, let's take it down to No Buy Hour (that's all I can do at this point). No promises.
@@abbaschild2499 hahaha
Those stamps are right up my alley! I am new to journaling and stationary and I am having a blast. I have been wanting to jump into fountain pens but have no clue about them. If you were gifting someone new to the world of fountain pens, ink, paper, and such what would that look like? Any recommendations?
I have a few videos on teh topic. Here is a recent one I did about friendly pens and inks to get started. ua-cam.com/video/Imcf0kbTDKY/v-deo.html
Ok the stamp you added green ink to…. I was so trying to figure out what kind of bird that was!!! With hat of course. penguin? Um. But did you say later on … bottle?? 🤔😶
No, i actually really didn’t even notice a bird… i thought it was just part of the cap of the bottle but now that you mention it.
Vintage Pharmacy Stamps!
So good, right!!!
MYP, aka Enablers Central 😂 I don’t need to spend any money at Atlas this week… I don’t need to spend any money at Atlas this week… I don’t need to spend any money at Atlas this week… I don’t need to spend any money at Atlas this week…
I already have a few more things in my shopping cart. 🛒
@@markyourpages *of course* you do 🤣🤣🤣
I’m also a lefty! I’ve been hesitant to try fountain pens because of it. Any tips or tricks? (I’m a newer viewer so forgive me if you’ve talked on this before!)
You just need to be very ware of where your hand is when you write. As a lefty I am sure you already contort your body for writing ;-) also find a good fast drying ink. That will make a big difference as well. Oh and nice extra fine tip pen.
Lefty?
