Jane's first marriage was also his first stable home as well. In brief flashbacks his house appears to be upscale and clean. Doubtless his psychic skills were leaned into hard to provide luxury so that he never had to fear displacement like he did under his father's influence in the carnival. Now in the long running absence of the avarice and vanity he was caught up in during his early years, and since Jane's new home is Lisbon, he doesn't have any major qualms with being nomadic again. Lisbon is home and thus home can go with him anywhere. Lisbon prefers to stay rooted though, so basically what I'm getting at is that I'd wager this version of Jane as a family man will be a lot more comfortably messy. Renovated shack, half-built boat on the pond, kites stuck in every nearby tree, an apiary, a dog, a cat, a tricycle, and at least two children spoiled absolutely rotten and able to perform sleight of hand before the first grade.
No, not spoiled. He's a trauma survivor plus an FBI agent, so is Lisbon. It's gonna be inverted- like in the homes of the Holocaust survivors. The children are gonna grow up " protecting " their parents, smart and hypervigilant. Sorry, but it's a fact of life.
@Tabitha Provan love your insight n imagination of Jane n Lisbon s life with children; we love this duo so much ; it’s so heart warming to see two broken people building up their lives together
that was a little nice joke or prank with the suitcase and a good idea. Espiecially the cat noise in the end and Jane also got Lisbon to do it with him too. Now they share an inside joke.
Jane and Lisbon as mates were a great double act. But Tunney was always just a second banana. But, as lovers, they form a great comic duo! Mix that with anti-sentimental Whiley/Vega pathos along with the Mr. and Mrs. Abott Maguffin drama, and "Presto: perfect final season!!!"
awss Vega and Wylie are like kids and they two are there looking at them like big brothers after playing a joke on their little ones 🤣🤣😍💖 Gosh.. Jane "for the first time I'm happy in a long time" 🥺😭😭😭😍 He is SO perfect ... he is literally offering the world to Lisbon, in such a free, natural way, he tells her that EVERYTHING is possible for them, he has a solution for everything and she only sees drawbacks in everything and at every step 💔😞 🤣🤣 I'm love that duality that complements them, she in her comfort zone so structured with rules, accustomed to the city and stability while he is a free spirit, an adventurer who does not follow rules but rather his emotions. 💕 2:40 MY GOD they hold each other's shoulders and walk subtly hugging 😭😍😍🙏💕 they are too cute!!
I'm guessing it was Raymond who committed the murder. Tactical training, premeditation, experience with weapons and violence, familiar with the surroundings, physical strength, personal ire against the victim, etc. All that versus his assertion that his lover committed the crime in the heat of the moment when we know the crime was planned. At best he talked Denise into doing the deed, but considering how he doesn't even trust her to keep her mouth shut under duress, I think he did the stabbing.
I feel like Patrick is trying really hard to communicate better in this season. It shows how much he has grown and also how much he loves Teresa. He is expressing a side of himself that we didn’t see because he was so consumed by vengeance. He now wants to enjoy other things in life. Teresa is happy continuing in law enforcement. This feels like a legitimate disconnect between two people who have been very independent and strong individually who now need to figure out how to accommodate each other’s ideas of life. This is where many couples might stumble or separate but Patrick and Teresa instead show us how to love someone who is different in ideology. It’s a very positive portrayal that we can learn from.
She's been calling him Jane for over 10 years, not an easy habit to get out of I would think and Lisbon is such a professional she probably wouldn't be comfortable calling him by his first name at work.
I think they're great friends first then lovers. So by default, he will be always 'Jane' to her in the same way she'll always be 'Lisbon' to him. In 7.06, when she presented him with the tea cup...he was emotional and called her 'Lisbon'. I don't think it's weird. Maybe it'll change with time.
Its been 5 episodes since Jisbon hasnt kissed. Its so dumb and unrealiatic. I get that the writers didnt want to ruin the professional dynamic between them but if they are done with work or if they are after death or life situation I dont get why they cant kiss. Its just not okay. Especially bc Pike and Teresa have been kissing in every scene of them and even more times in that one scene. I dont like this. Next episode is gonna be a small kiss and then nothing again until the finale. Im sad and annoyed.
@@smurfydayI think Robin was not marry yet at that time, beside, they are artists, should be professional, holds hands, arm in arm or arm around waist are normal act as lover, nothing too much.
I really appreciate that the Romance between them is so subtle and gentle, and not cheesy. The best way they could have portrayed
After they hooked up, is there a more mature relationship on screen? Really curious.
" I'm happy for the first time in you know how long "
This made me feel so sad for Jane but happy at the same time since now he has his princess
And this episode was directed by Simon Baker.
Seeing Jane happy is comforting; he is such a lovable character that you want the best for him ❤
So true, I want to cry after hear that, Jane suffers 10 yrs for his family tragedy, finally he found his happiness 😊😊😊
Can we just talk about how perfect together they are for moment🥺😍

Isn't it weird she keeps calling him Jane and not Patrick ? ^^

Nah... I see it as kind of a nickname... I have a couple friends who I call by their last names too and it's normal
It is weird, in India we call even colleagues by their first names. Frds even more intimate, I used to shorten my friends name.
Neha Jain
But they have always been known with their last names. The 12 years they knew each they were always Jane and Lisbon.
jane priceless.

They were married and esp. Simon's wife at the time wouldn't allow things to get heated on screen.

Teresa forgot that they are FBI agents. They're quite safe from the sharks. Professional courtesy ya all. 😀
