For those thinking that it wasn't a world record because it failed twice; the computer guy explains that they stopped the count at the first fail, assuming the record attempt was over. Then it was restarted with the restarting of the aorta. The second count was accepted as a world record attempt and had enough dominos falling to beat the previous world record, as explained by the guy from the Guinness World Record book organization.
As someone from Belgum i used to watch this in belgium on recorded vhs tapes, i would watch every year and rewatch it too, but man there is nothing more hearthbreaking and sad then some lazy bricks not doing their part in this fantastic piece of art.
No Original soundtrack available. I looked in dutch hit charts 1986: no results. I think the song has been composed specially for this Domino TV show!Unknown music group??1
hatelipost Yeah the main problem was they were going too close-up. With dominos I've noticed you don't want to zero right in and be constantly trailing the camera along the ground with the dominos, because you lose the experience because you can't see enough if you know what I mean. I came across another domino videographer doing the same with this spiral he made. He made this wonderful spiral, very big and nice. Then when he pushed the outisde domino to begin the chain reaction, he zeroed right in on the action and trailed the camera with the action, the camera is right up close and trailing round and round in circles. This way you missed half the action. Not only did you miss half the action, but when you did see it, all you saw was a close-up of dominos falling over, which actually looks the same whatever wonderful thing is going on from a larger perspective with the patterns or colours or whatever. You didn't have the experience of seeing it going in circles. And the camera going in circles itself didn't give that experience, you just got sea sick, bored and frustrated that you couldn't get a bird eye view of the action. Instead, what he should have done is zeroed out so you can see the whole spiral, and keep the camera still. Then you get the actual experience of the spiral and everything that is intended to be experienced from the gag.

Blijft geweldig om naar te kijken.
Thanks for uploading this show from 1986. I already got it from a dutch dominofan but it was never online on UA-cam.

Isn't this laughable watching this in 2016 after creating yourself the domino show? :P What a HUGE difference now!!
je hebt gelijk. 't is a historical document
@@hatelipost Love Dominoes!!!

was a different time, it was a way bigger challenge to setup a show like that.
semi professional broadcasting.... i agree, but historical document.
@@alantaylor6691exactly! The best part of watching dominoes fall is seeing them fall from above. It's so amazing!
