OMG! I'm in tears in my eyes! I am 35, I saw this film, when I was 9 and it largely determined who I became.Through this film I fall in love with Irish culture, play celtic harp, learned about fairies and believed in magic in my childhood! This movie saved me from sad moments in my childhood. Hello from Russia, Siberia! Thanks a lot for this movie! It's truly magical!
I couldn't remember the name of this movie for years, just the premise, until I recently looked up an update on the actor who played Mikey, and then saw the name, so I followed it, and realized this was the movie from my childhood I loved. I think this may have become the reason I found Ireland fascinating and still do. I have had dreams with leprechauns and even turned it into my own story in school. I was able to spend a few days in Dublin, but would love to visit Ireland again, and really explore more of it. I love Irish music and dancing and the Celtic lore, plus it's such a beautiful country and I love their accents. Watch a lot of Irish related things. Thank you for sharing this!
Truth be told, the movie according to the ending credits, was filmed in Bucharest, Romania. I recently saw a movie called Flight of the Doves from 1971 that was filmed entirely in Ireland I believe. But I liked this film! It's cute and entertaining and enjoyable even for adults! I love Ireland and the Irish as well. My late great artist painter wife Bernadette was Irish and all Celtic being part English and Welsh as well!😊
The older movies are the treasures! One of my favorite movies! Thank you so much for sharing this! I have a lot of Irish in me and it's so nice to connect with the things that I grew up with in child and teen hood when I don't get to spend as much time in this place as I used to. The warmth of family and fantasy was always a thing in my family who I don't see as much now. I helped to raise my siblings kids too with many fun opportunities for fantasy and fun times! Feeling the magic... It brings me home to watch this and gets me dancing with the leprechauns, faeries, Micheal and his family. Such a sweet movie and so good to remember about fighting for your loved ones. Such a beautiful message about love and loyalty. We need more movies like this!
As the other 299 comments have said, thanks a million for uploading this wee treasure! So nostalgic, simple and wholesome. May the road rise to meet you!
Omg! Watched this movie over 28 years ago since I was a kid. For years I’ve had all the songs and melodies in my head and wondered if I will ever see this movie in my head. Thanks!
Wow. I watched this on the Disney channel in the mid 90s but could never remember the name. Thanks to modern technology I was able to use Google and search terms like "Leprechauns wee folk 90s movie" and I finally ended up here. 😅 Great movie! Thank you for sharing.
I loved March 1st growing up because I knew that during the month, this movie would be play. I love this movie, and I'm so happy that it is immortalized forever online.
omgstephanielol same!! I was beginning to think that I just imagined this movie, I had been searching for it for years! And no one knew what movie I was talking about when I had described it. Not even Google. Escape to witch mountain, the made for tv 90s Disney channel movie brought me here!
Thank you so much for uploading this movie! I've been searching for this movie for years now and never could find it. I use to watch it all the time as a kid when it use to air on the Disney channel. :D
Yes.. Yes. Yes!!!!I kept getting it confused with luck of the Irish because it came on the Disney channel every St Patrick's day. This used to scare me so much
This was fantastic, thank you for uploading this. I was almost in tears with the opening song alone, I watched this as much as I could when I was a child and it was on Disney Channel. The 90s were truly a wonderful time to grow up in, not like the trash they have on Disney these days. (I'm opinionated, sorry lol) Thank you!!
I couldnt believe this was actually on the Disney channel! Disney would make a lot i mean A LOT of references of irish / celtic culture in their shows and movies throughout the 90s and early 2000s... movies like the luck of the irish and shows like So Weird..
No one ever knew what the hell i was talking about when I tried to explain this movie! I genuinely thought I must have made it up! Thank you for posting!

Vengo buscando esta película hace 10 años o más... Y justo hoy tuve la dicha de encontrarla. Ahora solo me queda encontrarla en español-latino como la que yo vi. Que felicidad que tengo.
