تسعى كاريتاس سورية للحد من التأثير والتداعيات طويلة الأمد التي خلفها الزلزال المدمر الذي ضرب بلدنا الحبيب سورية، على السكان المتضررين في مدينة حماه وذلك من خلال مشروع يوفر مدارس تحقق معايير التعليم الآمنة، حيث قام مكتب المنطقة الوسطى في حماه بتسليم مدرسة الشهيد خالد السمك للتعليم الأساسي لمديرية تربية حماه، بعد إتمام جميع أعمال الترميم الجزئية فيها.
