Ditching plate carriers and helmets in Jungle warfare is picking up pace. We need to remember what our fathers did in Vietnam. They had vests but ditched them due to heat and humidity. I have put together my jungle rig again.
I love seeing the Marines working with the ADF. Awesome stuff!
OMG...i did mine with 5 RAR...I Hated Tully so much....its warm, bugs, vines grab you , wet and a week jungle training..the best part was leaving..but so good on the other hand...
Hope you ‘enjoyed’ your time at Tully jungle school Fox Company.
Do you guys think that in actual jungle warfare, we would ditch the plate carriers and go with chest rigs/Vietnam-era combat harnesses?
why are the officers talking, I wanna hear from the enlisted
Same

Worked with the maries in the jungle a few times in the 80s they were very LOUD AND AFRAID , just kids paying of their college fees , sad really .
