i like how he described Lord Shiva as the Destroyer/Transformer not just the destroyer because people often think destruction is a bad thing but it actually leads to transformation.

    • @the11382
      @the11382 3 роки тому +19

Destruction can be necessary. We destroy evil, suffering, ignorance/illusion, etc.
I am not sure how transformation is exactly the same as destruction, but destruction/transformation can depend on one's point of view sometimes.

@@the11382 Because nothing can be actually destroyed or created, You eventually transform it only.
let me explain you with an example
a seed is destroyed to create a plant
a plant is destroyed to create a tree
a Tree is destroyed to create wood
a wood is destroyed to create furniture
its everlasting ongoing process is which new thing take birth from ending of its old form and then live its life to eventually be destroyed to create something else.
that's what complete the circle of birth--->life---->death---birth and so on
thus representing brahma as creator, Vishnu as preserver and Shiva as destroyer.

    • @himdude9637
      @himdude9637 6 років тому +1

Akarsh Balaji. I would appreciate if there was awareness in people to call it Sanatan Sanskriti or Vedic Dharma. Sanatan Sanskriti is repository of knowledge with human evolution. This evolved with the time and yug (kaal).
      1. The place between Himalaya in north to indu sarovar (Indian ocean) is called Hindu. Himalya Hi and Indu. Makes the word Hindu. Used for geographic demarcation. Hindu kush mountain Hindu river called as Sindhu river all indicated the sanskrit origin of the word. But yes doesn't indicate religion but Geographic. Hindustan is a pure sanskrit origin word. Read the puran. The muslim invaders tried to demean the word Hindu with many bad words to show them down and paint them as bad people. This is how racist jokes are created.
      2. Since Dharma evolved and led humans from darkness to light from ignorance to knowledge. "tamso ma jyotirgamaya". There was no other religion to compete So there is no name, no rules for bashing other religion and concept of conversion. You can't bash criticize or compete non existent.
      3. This is why got more than 1400 books scriptures on various topics helpful in material and spiritual life and this knowledge evolved with time.
      4. Ayurvda, Medicine, Vyakrna, Natyashashtra, state crafts, yagya hawan ritual, philosophy, astrology, Jyotish, poetics, sangita shastra, yoga, Veda,Vedanta, Puran, Mimansa architecture mathematics to name a few. Books are available on every aspect of human brain can imagine in such a detail that only one book Mahabharat contains one lakh shlokas.
      5. In short Dharma is celebration of the diversity of Human knowledge. Celebrating life and Nature is integral part of Sanatan sanskriti. Hindu celebrate Holi Diwali Chhath Pongal Vaisakhi Sankranti alongside numerous smaller celebration round the year.
      6. We as a layman only know about Dharma as a blind man knows about elephant after holding the tail of the elephant.
      7. Most of us are only able to know what we see on daily basis like nature and creation worship. And on the basis of this we criticize and appreciate dharma. But Dharma criticize none. Dharma don't give scope for criticism but enlightenment and seeking truth .
      8. There is so much more to know. Since I am born in a Dharma followers family. Therefore I celebrate the diversity of human thoughts with ease. Dose not mean i know everything. But once you will know Dharma out of the set criteria of Abrahamic religion for Dharma. You will find nothing to criticize like a blind man holding an elephant tail and saying why he is made to hold a snake. Instead of criticism You will question and seek answers.
      9. For example when you see a survivor on discovery eating dead animal poo and pee either you appreciate or criticize this. But no one can deny that this human will survive the odd. And Dharma have a complete set of philosophy and practicing sect called aghori. However a few. To make sure that the human will survive the extreme. Human will not die out because of the certain dogmas made by the so called civilized society or religion. Dharma supports all accommodates all.
      10. Religion ends at heaven and hell only but the Dharma gives to strive even beyond this. That's Moksha complete liberation. Gives emphasis on seeking, knowing your self deep within and finding your own path. This is the reason from Sanatan dharma lots of ism like Jain, Buddha, Sikh, vaishnava Shaiva, Atheism, came out without any conflict or blood shed. Can you imagine the same with Abrahmic religion?
      11. If someone adopts Sanatan dharma way of life. He automatically fits into the either Varna Vyavstha Brahman, Kshatriya, Vaishya, Shudra according to their profession or Ashram Vyavstha Brahmacharya Grihasth Vanprasth and Sanyas. Together its called Varnashram Vyavstha for the benefit of the society. I can enlighten you on this vedic Varnashram vayvstha. Mail me
Varna division start from us. Our head is our brahma to control our shoulders are our kshatriya to protect us our stomach is our vysya to feed us and our foot are our shudra to serve us.
Another term division of profession. Which exists all over the world in different forms. And this is most scientific division of profession to avoid conflict in society. This Varna can be achieved by your Karma. To fit into Ashram one has nothing to do. Fits in naturally and can stay in any of the phase as long as he wants.
Now it depends on us that we respect equally to our teacher and our toilet cleaner. Which Dharma clearly says respect each and every thing. This is why worship for all not only to teachers. So if you respect your teacher and toilet cleaner equally you are a great Dharmik person. Now where you see fault in this varna system. Lots of Rishi were not born in cast Brahman but respected worshipped. Cast seems a tribal identity with all the evils of Ego and depends totally an individual local social environment no support from Dharma
      12. Sanatan Dharma allow an individual to seek truth, follow a path or make his her own path to reach the goal of 'Brahma" the energy and consciousness of the Universe. The feeling of अहं ब्रह्मास्मी, I am the consciousness makes one enlighten and तत् त्वमसी, so are you makes you a Guru.
This is the reason encouraged many enlightened soul to find and make their own path. Thus Jainism, Buddhism, Sikhism, sant parampra like Kabir, Ravidas etc were born without any conflict. Dharma allowed them to propagate and flourish
      13. Comparing Dharma with one book one prophet religion is not a good idea. Can only increase ignorance. Because books of mazhab are small simple and for that for the followers of that particular mazhab only. So better study the world's oldest surviving civilization based on Dharma with universal application, yourself. अहं बर्हमासमी l तत त्वं असी. सर्वे जना:सुखिनो भवन्तु. सर्वे सन्तु निराम्या:l वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम l

Basically it is believed that first shiva came into existence. It is believed that vishnu came from shiva and brahma came from vishnu.
I read somewhere that when gods asked how universe came into existence. Shiva answered it came into existence from Brahma. When it was asked brahma came into existence shiva answered from vishnu. Again the question was repeated-how vishnu came into existence shiva answered from me. And when finally asked how he himself came into existence. Shiva answered brahma.
Now let us connect shiva to destruction, vishnu to preserver and brahma to creation.
We will find that with destruction comes creation. With creation of something comes its preservation. And with preservation of something comes destruction. And the cycle goes on.

It's because we've accepted that no one will ever think or believe the same way. Everyone has their own truth. Religions are those separate paths people take to meet their own truths. One day, we're all going to meet at that single truth, no matter what path we take. It doesn't matter what religion we follow.

Mid east & india both have very early civilizations. While JEsus was made a god against the teachings of the bible job 25 among the final Prophets in the Abrahamic religions, vedantist hindus did this to many Prophets earlier & became pagan w/ avatar incarnation to pantheism when Allah is above the heavens. Prophecies of Muhammad peace and blessings on him in the vedas mention very specific things as a Mercy to hinduism, to accept Allah in Tawhid and reject idolatry, the prophecies of Muhammad mention he is the greatest Prophet of even god due to the pagan concept of turning man into god (which happenned in the end of Isaacite prophets with Jesus, but happenned repeatedly in hinduism) who is given a law to last forever, the miraj or ascension above the 7 heavens , so Allah is above the throne separate from creation and idols, and mentions Hajj in the center of the Earth where the cows are sacrificed for Allah, again showing creation is subservient to Allah and Allah is above creation, rejecting their idolatry based on pantheism... Allah is above creation separate from them,
Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings on him is mentioned as Narashansa in vedas, Nar meaning man and Shansa meaning praiseworthy which is the meaning of Muhammad.
even in vedas hinduism and bible is says there will be a Prophet from the center of the Earth who sacrifices cows, who goes to the highest heavens, and gets light of eternal law with the only straight path, he is the cheif of Prophets, the mightest of men who conquers, who knocks down castles! & his name will be Muhammad
or Narashansa in vedas... He is mentioned by name many times, and he is called Muhammad in Solomon songs 5 :16.
Islam is not a new religion it is the best and prophesized forfillement of the religions of the ancient PRophets...
Vedas said their will be a cheif Prophet named Narashansa or Muhammad ... Jesus said there will be a comfortor to last forever like Quran, and vedas says the man who gives comfort will be doing hajj sacrifice rituals, both matching Muhammad peace and blessings on him the final Prophet etc.
      >>>
Correct Islamic views on concept Allah's Tawhid, Allah alone is Lord Creator Above creation hence futility of idolatry or creation:
Quran 23 Muminoon : 91 - No son (or offspring) did Allah beget, nor is there any ilah (god) along with Him. (If there had been many gods), then each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have tried to overcome others! Glorified be Allah above all that they attribute to Him!
Allah alone is the Creator :
Quran 18 Kahf: 51. I (Allah) made them (Iblis and his offspring) not to witness (nor took their help in) the creation of the heavens and the earth and not their own creation, nor was I (Allah) to take the misleaders as helpers.
      52. And the Day He will say: "Call those partners of Mine whom you pretended." Then they will cry unto them, but they will not answer them, and We shall put a Maubiq (barrier) between them.
not brahma or other false gods who will not answer you...
Allah alone is the preserver/ sustainer not vishnu :
Quran 2 Baqarah : 255 - Allah! La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), Al-Hayyul-Qayyum (the Ever Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists). Neither slumber nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is he that can intercede with Him except with His Permission? He knows what happens to them (His creatures) in this world, and what will happen to them in the Hereafter. And they will never compass anything of His Knowledge except that which He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.
Quran 35 Fatir : 41 - Verily! Allah grasps the heavens and the earth lest they move away from their places, and if they were to move away from their places, there is not one that could grasp them after Him. Truly, He is Ever Most Forbearing, OftForgiving.
Allah alone will destroy creation, & resurrect them for judgement, not shiva :
Quran 13 :21 And if there had been a Qur'an with which mountains could be moved (from their places), or the earth could be cloven asunder, or the dead could be made to speak (it would not have been other than this Qur'an). But the decision of all things is certainly with Allah. Have not then those who believed yet known that had Allah willed, He could have guided all mankind? And a disaster will not cease to strike those who disbelieved because of their (evil) deeds or it (i.e. the disaster) settles close to their homes, until the Promise of Allah comes to pass. Certainly, Allah breaks not His Promise.
Quran 17 Isra : 58 - And there is not a town (population) but We shall destroy it before the Day of Resurrection, or punish it with a severe torment. That is written in the Book (of Our Decrees)
Quran 69 : 16. And the heaven will be rent asunder, for that Day it (the heaven) will be frail and torn up.
      17. And the angels will be on its sides, and eight angels will, that Day, bear the Throne of your Lord above them.
      18. That Day shall you be brought to Judgement, not a secret of you will be hidden.
Allah alone is to be worshiped & Who we return to, not brahman or the creation :
Quran 41 Fusilat : 37 - And from among His Signs are the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. Prostrate yourselves not to the sun nor to the moon, but prostrate yourselves to Allah Who created them, if you (really) worship Him.
Quran 2 Baqarah 151 - Who, when afflicted with calamity, say: "Truly! To Allah we belong and truly, to Him we shall return."

Fascinating stuff! I would like to add that until recently Hinduism wasn't viewed as a single religion but just different variations of the "same/similar" culture around India. The beautiful thing is that it's syncretic, as you mentioned. A lot of people see India as one unified culture or many Indians see India as divided along religious lines, but the truth is that historically any old culture became part of contemporary culture of that time and any new culture and religion brought into the region was assimilated into the already existing culture. Of course there are exceptions to that and there have been conflicts... but compared to a lot of cultures India is a pretty good example of syncretism and assimilation of peoples and cultures. I personally believe that before colonialism and nationalism a lot more places on Earth would have been like that, but today India is one example that preserved that aspect really well.

Hinduism is nothing like islam or abrahamic faiths.
★Because there is no apostasy or blashphemy in hinduism, like you have in islam, christianity etc.
★Instead hindu must follow ahinsa (nonviolence & pluralism).
★Hindu are not tied rigidly to one mandatory sacred book or scripture. There are many books, many varid philosophies within hinduism like agnostics, atheists, polytheists, pan-atheists,.... different branches of philosophy like sankhya school, mimansha school, yog school, vaisasika school, nayaya school. These were astik (orthodox) vedic schools). Monoists were adwaita hindus who were small minority before islamic invasion when most astik dwaita (dualists) hindus were mass killed because they rejected monotheism of islam- Google "hindu philosophy"
    ★Hindu don't have a centrally controlled organization.
★Hindu are free to think for themselves, and have freedom to disagree with other hindus. Hindu are also free to change their ideas, or hold on to them, to conserve old ideas or give em up for new thought, change, reform evolve.
★Hindu don't attend any mass in temples. Islam and christian attend regular mass gatherings where preacher can refresh their religious brainwashing, inspire them to organized fanaticism like you see after friday prayer.
★Hindu don't have madrasas to brainwash young minds into one single ideology.
♥●●→Abrahamics like islam etc are monocultural and nonpluralistic. They seek to eliminate differences and disagreements to attain peace. But Hinduism is pluralistic, a ppl learn to live peacefully along with diferences. (Vasudh eva kutubakam:- varied world, one family)
    ﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏
★ Only 3 principles are mandatory for a hindu, : - *AHINSA, DHARMA, & VED* . All else like god, atheism, or idols or worship, choice of books and gods/goddesses...are all optional and your personal choice.
*Ahinsa* is nonviolence, which results in peaceful pluralism in society.
*Dharma* is rule of rational laws/morals, that dicerns between right and wrong behavior. Hindu must adhere to dharma (follow laws that constrain behavior/karma) (including understanding concept of dharma ie why some behavior is wrong/harmful to us & society)
*Ved* means to reveal, ie reveal truths, by process of ved, scientific discovery
All else like gods, atheism, idols, rebirth, salvation, brahman state, are all optional and personal choice in hinduism

      No brainwashing in churches.
Only imparting the values of love and compassion.
You must appreciate the human need to assemble together to praise and worship God as a community. No man is an island and religion does not force you to become a hermit.
Religion by definition encompasses a set of standards for its followers so that it's adherents can relate to God and their fellow humans in a meaningful way. This ensures order.
Without order there could be chaos.

    • @rational0

@@Jin-dc7gl There is no such thing as _'human need to assemble to worship god/s'_ . That is what makes abrahamic faiths so TIRBAL (large group = tribe). Then you have a 'shepherd' who herds the flock... etc etc that is organized religion for you. But All asian faiths are non-religions (do not form tribes, no herding the flock) and the faith / ideology is mostly a personal choice.
Worship of god/s is also not at all a human need, and we can see non god based societies existing and progressing being functional and very happy ever since the dawn of history. And god worship is not at all a meaningful thing, be in tribes or alone.
So i wud humbly like to disagree with you. i am not a god believer, never was in my life, and never felt that need, and i am VERY HUMAN

    • @rational0

@@Jin-dc7gl ⭐🔯Morality is good = subject of RIGHT & WRONG BEHAVIOR = laws of right & Wrong behavior. Also the logic of what how and why some behavior is right (beneficial) and another is harmful / wrong) .... this is a very important concept. Morality = Dharam = well defined and very meaningful idea and terms. YES a society that does not value morality (not really religious 'moral values') will suffer in the components of peace progress happiness and fairness justice ...
🔵Spirituality is really undefined and means very little , does it pertain to sprits, ghots jinns gods magic woodoo...? Whatever is spirituality? Nobody can really say without being confused.
🔴Yes many hindus are very TRIBAL. Even without being herded by some priest or without being a part of a long term congregation, hindu can be quite TRIBAL. Humans do have the traits similar to gregarious animals. But such TRIBAL constructs and behavior is not that necessary when we form ideas and support those ideas, SCIENCE IS NOT A TRIBAL MAJORITY WINS , Science is not a democracy. Tribal instinct kicks in when facing survival crisis and large threats to a society. But not needed otherwise. So having nations or even uniting as a species wont be all that bad. In fact when people are more intellectual and thoughtful and less irrational (religious), there are many benefits to such a society.
💙Right now nations like Japan Korea China Vietnam Taiwan most east asian nations have the best societies, low crime and very progressive and successful, and they are all ATHEIST, no need to form herds and flocks and follow such religions. But they do have MORALITY and laws and democracy and secular pluralistic culture and system of govt and attitudes. That says a lot huh?

ScrappySuper91 Bible is misinterpreted not because Bible is insufficient or incorrect. It's because human minds are insufficient without God's wisdom. And God did not give them wisdom in advance maybe because he wanted people to depend on him. Second thing about murders, I'm a Protestant and I know how evil the Vatican is. God told Israel not to let foreigners stay, but they let them stay and intermarried with the foreigners (pagans). And due to that u can see how evil the current Israel is now and what they're doing to Palestine. Similarly Christianity is invaded by paganism. Satan had the audacity and courage to go to JESUS (who was his creator, being the second person of the Holy Trinity) and tempt him. Shouldn't then we be running for our salvation and soul?

Albin Siby It is proved Lord Krishna is God
      from the Bible
The Bible is full of statements like ‘God this
and God that’, but it never gives any details
on the person God. This article proves how the
father of Jesus is Lord Krishna and many of
the statements made by Jesus are based on
      the Bhagavad-Gita teachings (his father’s
      teachings).
“God is great, God is above in the sky, God is
love, God is all powerful. God is all knowing
      and so on..”
These answers actually do not help us to
understand nor know God. The simple truth is that the Bible does not
describe God, and thus one will never know
God by reading the Bible. However, the Bible
does give some important information on God
which is fully explained in the Bhagavad-Gita
and other Vedic scriptures. Thus one has to
read the Vedic scriptures to know God.
      1. Who is the God in us All?
“One God and Father of all, who [is] above all,
and through all, and in you all . ” (Ephesians
      4:6)
“And they tempted God in their heart.” (Psalm
      78.18)
The above Bible verses very clearly state that
God is in us all including Jesus (John 14.10).
Those who are intelligent and believe in the
truth will ask themselves “Who is in us? Who
      says He is within us?
Where can I find this information?
“I am the Supersoul, O Arjuna, seated in the
hearts of all living entities.” (Lord
      Krishna,Bhagavad-Gita 10.20)
“I am in everyone’s heart as the
      Supersoul.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita
      7.21)
“I, dwelling in their hearts.” (Lord Krishna,
      Bhagavad-Gita 10.11)
“The Supreme Lord is situated in everyone’s
      heart.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 18.61)
It is very clear from the Bhagavad-Gita that it
is Lord Krishna who is in us all. There is
nobody else who claims to be in us all,
because only one person can be is us all and
      He is Lord Krishna.
      2. Where Did Jesus Get his Knowledge?
“The words I say to you are not just my own.
Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is
      doing his work.” (John 14.10)
“I am seated in everyone’s heart, and from Me
      come remembrance, knowledge and
forgetfulness. By all the Vedas, I am to be
known. Indeed, I am the compiler of Vedanta,
and I am the knower of the Vedas.” (Lord
      Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 15.15)
Jesus very clearly stated that his teachings
come from his father who is living in him. It is
Lord Krishna who is living in Jesus, and thus
from Lord Krishna Jesus got all his knowledge.

Brahma is the Creator of the Universe and to create something you must have the knowledge to create it that's why his wife is Saraswati(Goddess of Knowledge), Vishnu is the Preserver or in simple words he keeps this Universe running or working and to preserve something you require the resources that's why his wife is Lakshmi(Goddess of Wealth) and Shiva is the destroyer of the Universe and to destroy something you must have the energy or power to do it that's why his wife is Parvati/AdiShakti(Energy or Power).

God, Shiva, Vishnu, Rama, Krishna, Brahma, Demigods, Demigoddesses, other Vedic authorized names, the Vedas, the Puranas, Bhagavad Gita, etc. could be considered some of the many paths to God Kingdom. Shree Bhagavan is so kind, whenever He noticed an individual soul is trying wholeheartedly to achieve His mercy, HE may reveals Himself in one of those Forms mentioned, Above!!! Mahavishnu (Devanāgarī : महाविष्णु) [Hari, Narayana] is a principal deity in Hinduism, known as the Absolute protector of the universe beyond human comprehension and all attributes. In Gauḍīya Vaishnavism, a school of Vaiṣṇavism, the Sātvata-tantra describes three different forms, or aspects, of Mahavishnu:
    Kāraṇārṇavaśāyī Viṣṇu,
    Garbhodakaśāyī Viṣṇu and
    Kṣīrodakaśāyī Vishnu.
The term Mahavishnu refers to that Absolute truth Brahm(a) or Brahman (impersonal invisible aspect) then as Paramatma (Aspect beyond the understanding of human soul) and finally as Sarvatma(incarnating for bringing perfection). So bhakti (loving devotion) goes to Sarvatman(Krishna or Rama avatars or incarnations of Vishnu, Narayana bringing both peace and perfection of the living beings). In this way, bhakti surpasses even yoga, which is aimed at the Supersoul, Paramatman.
Mahavishnu is the Supersoul of all living beings (jivaatmas) in all material universes. Kāraņodaksayi Vishnu is understood to be Sankarsana(form) of the Catur-vyuha of Nārāyaņa. It is also often used interchangeably with Vishnu to indicate reverence, as the prefix "Mahā" in vishnu indicates the greatness and the vastness of Narayan. So all the Gods including Purusha form like Shiva, Brahma are considered as the Part of Maha Vishnu Expansion.[Vishwaswaroop]
Mahavishnu is said to lie in the Causal Ocean or the Karanodak. He puts the seed of this material universe in Mahāmāyā by glancing at her. Mahāmāyā remains the ever obedient material energy of the Supreme Lord. All the natural elements including sky, fire, water, air and land are created along with mind, intelligence and false ego.
After this, Mahavishnu enters each of the many universes so created (seeds emerging from the pores of His skin) as Garbhodaksayi Vishnu, who lays down in each and every of these individual material universes (Brahmandas). It can be interpreted that Garbodakshayi Vishnu is the collective soul of all souls in a particular material universe and that Mahavishnu is the collective soul of all souls in all of the material universes.
From Garbhodaksayi Vishnu then emerges Brahmā who is the secondary creator (due to his need to meditate to create planets in the material universe) of the planetary systems within particularly this material universe (Brahmanda).

The current age (and total age) of universe as described by Vedas (sacred books of Hinduism). According to modern science, there are two theories:
      a. The Steady State theory, which says the universe is never born, never dies, and is always like what it is.
      b. The Big bang theory, which says the universe began with a point of energy exploding in a "big-bang".
Since the universe is expanding and evolving, 1st theory is not 100% correct automatically. Big Bang theory says that the current age of universe is 11-20 billion years. But according to new observations, i.e. clusters of galaxies, super-clusters, Great Wall (Tully's complexes), it is quite evident that our universe is much much older than that. Lots of cosmologist believe that big-bang theory is not correct although it is most widely accepted. In short, modern man is not aware of forces and science which are needed to expain the creation of universe.
Lets look at vedic science and what it says. Right now I am quoting only what it says:
      a. Total age of universe is 311.04 trillion years (human years).
      b. Current age is around 155.521972944 trillion years.
      How it is calculated:
-> There are 4 ages on earth which keeps circulating:
Satya Yuga - 1.728 million years
Treta Yuga - 1.296 million years
Dwapara Yuga - 0.864 million years
Kali Yuga - 0.432 million years
      Total: 4.32 million human years.
-> This yuga cycle is called maha (in english, it means great/big) or divya (divine) yuga. One thousand such cycles forms one day of Brahma. So one day of Brahma is 4.32 million * 1000 = 4.32 billion human years. Each such day of Brahma is called a "kalpa". His night also constitutes 4.32 billion human years. During his day, life exists in universe. In nighttime, no form of life exists. So one complete day and night has 8.64 billion human years.
-> Age of Brahma is 100 years. Each year of Brahma has 360 days and same number of nights. Thus, total age of Brahma is 360 * 100 * 8.64 billion = 311,040 billion human years. i.e. 311.04 trillion years. This period is called "maha kalpa".
-> The life span of the universe is one "maha kalpa". i.e. 311.04 trillion human years. This time span is also the duration of one breath of "Vishnu". When he exhales, thousands of universes emerges and one "Brahma" is born in each universe. When "Vishnu" inhales, all universes get sucked and Brahma dies.
-> This cycle is non-ending and eternal. Thats why "Vishnu" is considered eternal in Vedic Science (or religion).
How much old is our universe:
-> Note that the period of Satya Yuga is 0.4x, Treta Yuga is 0.3x, Dwapara Yuga is 0.2x and Kali Yuga is 0.1x where x is the time-span of one maha-yuga cycle. I will use 'x' as 1 maha-yuga cycle subsequently.
-> In 1 day of Brahma, there are 14 "manvantara". Each "manvantara" is divided into 71 "maha-yuga" cycles. So total make 14*71 = 994x (mahayuga cycles).
-> Remaining cycles (1 day of Brahma contains 1000 maha-yuga cycles) are used to fill gaps between manvantara. Before and after each manvantara (called as "sandhya" and "sandhyamsa" respectively), there is a junction of 1.728 million (age of Satya Yuga, or 0.4x) human years. Total number of junctions are 15 (since there are 14 manvantaras). So total gap period is = 0.4 * 15 = 6x. Hence total makes 1000 maha-yuga cycles or 1 brahma day.
-> According to the Vedic texts, current age of Brahma is 50 Brahma years and 1 brahma day (we are in the 1st day of 2nd half of brahma)and we are in the seventh "manvantara", in the 28th turnover of its 71 yuga cycles. In this cycle, we are in the start Kali Yuga. Age of kali yuga is not known perfectly but it is around 5000-10000 years. For calculation, lets assume 8000 human years.
-> So current age of our universe (in terms of maha-yuga cycles) =
      (50 * 720 * 1000) -- 50 years * (360 days + 360 nights) * total no. of cycles in one day/night
      + (6 * 71) -- 6 manvantara each of 71 maha-yuga cycle
      + (7 * 0.4) -- 7 junctions or gaps for 6 manvantara
      + (27 * 1) -- we are in 28th cycle of 71
+ (0.4+0.3+0.2) -- In this cycle, we are in Kali Yuga. Satya Yuga, Treat Yuga and Dwapara yuga are 0.4x, 0.3x and 0.2x respectively.
+ around 8000 human years -- very small, so ignoring it.
Thus total age = (36,000,000 + 456.7)x = 36,000,456.7 * 4.32 million = 155,521,972.944 million years = 155.521972944 trillion human years. Now add the age of kaliyuga. i.e. around 8000 human years. One we calculate the exact age of kaliyuga, we can know the exact age of universe.

@@nguyentuong8529 I would say so. I know some people would disagree with me since people tend to believe in one god specifically over the others. But when it comes to the holy trinity in hinduism yes they share the same power. They balance each other out. Without life you cannot have death. I should've mentioned the term for the make trinity is hinduism is called the "Trimurti"
Just like the Trimurti you also have the female equivalent of the trinity called the Tridevi. Meaning "three goddesses". They are also the consorts to the holy trinity.
Sarawati - Goddess of the arts and knowledge. Brahma is Saraswati's consort.
Lakshmi - Goddess of wealth, known to bring purity and a wealthy life. Lord Vishnu is Lakshmi's consort.
Parvati - She combats evil and demonic forces (negative energy) that threatens peace and prosperity. Lord Shiva is Parvati's consort.

What is the Age of Rajogun Brahma?
Ans. Brahma Ji is the eldest son of Goddess.
Calculation of a Divya Varsh / God year :-
One day of Brahma = 1000 (one thousand) Chaturyuga (four yugas) and the same is the duration of the night.
One Chaturyug has 43,20,000 years of human beings
One month =30 days and nights
    One year = 12 months
Brahma’s age is 100 years (Divya Varsh / God years).
One Chaukri (Chaturyuga) is made up of four Yugas which are as follows.
    1. Satyug, which is 17,28,000 years
    2. Treta Yug, which is of 12,96,000 years
    3. Dwapar Yug, which is 8,64,000 years
    4. Kalyug, which is of 4,32,000 years.
    Total 4.32 million human years
    Month = 30 × 2000 = 60,000 (sixty thousand) chaturyuga
    Year = 12 × 60,000 = 7,20,000 (seven lakh twenty thousand) chaturyuga
    Age of Brahma - 7,20,000 × 100 = 72,000,000 (seven crore twenty lakh) chaturyuga.
    72,000,000 x 43,20,000 = 311,040,000,000,000 human years
    Total = 311.04 Trillion ( Age of Brahma )

The only thing Hindus & Buddhists have major disagreements are regarding the status of Gods or God figures among each other's pantheons. It's actually fun to see it that way as it eases out the sometimes harsh & crude commentaries they have written about each other over the centuries but at the same time they both accepted each other's ideas & respected each others beliefs for long periods in various parts of the world.

Buddhism is silent about Gods rather it has different realms & Higher beings but they are Hindu in origin. Buddha knew Hinduism as he was born as Hindu Prince Siddharth Gautama & thus re-imagined lots of Hindu ideas & his own ideas which together resulted in the religion called as Buddhism but for Indians it is all a part of Indian Philosophy.

sqp I would appreciate if there was awareness in people to call it Sanatan Sanskriti or Vedic Dharma.
सर्वे सन्तु निराम्या:l वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम l

professorM yes and no, first of all many of the Buddhist rituals and practises are derived from vedic age or Hinduism, as u have seen ram was 7 th incarnation of Vishnu we consider Buddha to be 13 incarnation of Vishnu, Buddha taught us a simple way of life and added to the teachings of Hinduism but it just so happened that his teachings all together became a different religion and then the religion migrated to eastern part of Asia. so Buddha is considered a holy figure in Hinduism too and taught humanity his wisdom and knowledge and a simple way of life.

    • @palashsinha6680
      @palashsinha6680 7 років тому +7

Actually the caste system was a social phenomenon and not a religious one, so it wasn't mentioned in the video too, the bhagvad gita or Vedas do not tell to practise caste system. In Hinduism we all are a manifestation of one Brahman so every one is equal and must be respected so caste system is the most anti-hindu thing possible and most Hindus hate it.Buddha due to his knowledge did preach good things and stopped violence and that is why he is respected in Hinduism too. The only slight difference in Hinduism and Buddhism is the notion of God.but if you see neither Buddha spread a notion of God nor Krishna, they both taught an ideal way of life and values and for their knowledge, they are viewed as God in Hinduism.
