Hi, Nikkia! When I went to work today I was wearing makeup full on, and my colleague complimented my look. She also told me that I'm lucky I am still young enough to wear makeup. That made me wonder. I'm 33 looking at least 5 years younger, and she's almost 50 looking fantastic as well. What do you think, can wearing makeup make us age faster, and should we stop using makeup with age?
I'm not Nikkia but I have been wearing makeup a LONG time and I definitely believe there are good skincare benefits to be had by using good quality makeup....also physical sun barrier benefits ....I have found my skin has fared wayyyyyy better as a makeup wearer over the years than those of my earlier peers at school and work who were natural and didn't wear makeup everyday. Long as you use a good skincare routine and get it all off before bed it seems to be protective. I'm 56 and been wearing it forty years now lol. I hate to think how many houses I could have bought instead though!!
Mimi On The Catwalk Your work colleague may have her own reasons for not wearing makeup, however, burdening you with her beliefs is not right. I'm 52 and really only started getting into makeup the last few, simply because I didn't know how to apply it properly. I have always had a good skincare routine though, using hyaluronic acid, c,e and ferulic acids. I am often mistaken as being my 6 year old Grandson's mother. You do what makes you happy, as for me, I'm a makeup wearer for the rest of my life 😀
Mimi On The Catwalk I'm 28 and I recently got into make up this past year. My skin is actually been better than its ever been because of the skincare I use after wearing my makeup. I only use good quality stuff on my face. I think make up will age you if you don't take care of your skin and leave on. I know a lot of women who sleep with it on lol I'm like ugh how can you sleep with it on? Then they complain about clogged pores and what not later

how does the mac fix + spray work for you, its hydrating so i'm hesitant since I'm very oily... but i loooove the scent! how is the volcanic ash scrub?? would it be ok for sensitive skin ? i know you also use the paint pot for your nose, have you tried this and then the oil control lotion on top? :)

What color do you wear in the mac foundation? And which one would you recommend for oily skin?
When you go to Macs website you can chat with someone! Send a pic with no filters or makeup and explain your oily/non oily problems. They’ll suggest the product that’ll be the best! I just bought my first foundation from Mac and my face is beyond dry!!! (Even with prime & moisturizer)

You will LOVE the oil control lotion. It works. Well for me and I have been using it for 2-3 years. I am oily/combo. It's the only lotion that works for me all year!!!

I'm not huge on MAC products (generally due to the price in NZ and all the cheaper alternatives available) but I can definitely appreciate a massive makeup haul like this!!
closest to you would be Malaysia, where it is cheaper for sure. Do come by; now that our currency is weak, you guys can go nuts. I get only what I need, and the rest from the US when I can.

How can you wait three months to open all these packages?! 😍 I'd be opening and playing with them on my way home from the store!! Tonight I made a trip to Ulta and I didn't get back until about 6:00 PM and as soon I walked into the house I was already taking my new Stila gel eyeliner out of the package to put some on!!! I used to be a MAC obsessed girl and I still absolutely love love love all their products, such good quality, however, this year I decided to go cruelty free and it breaks my heart that MAC is not 😩😩😩. I totally understand as a pro MUA that using MAC in your kit is a must, I just wish they would go cruelty free already. Anyway, love you ✌🏼️💜👍🏼

Im 34 and have been going through skin changes and was going crazy tryna find my HG foundation and then when i heard you talk about the studio fluid foundation and skin base, i HAD to try it... And that's it... I found my HG!!!! I REALLY trust your reviews of products. You are so honest in them and have never led me wrong... But PLEASE do a video with your expert opinion on skin that is starring to age!!!!! I beg you!!!! Lol

Absolutely love it.. Lip liner Strip down with Velvet Teddy is nice, Yash and Whirl are my to go to in Brides. I do the same damage going into MAC for myself and client kit. Will have to try the high lighters in loose powder. I do use Prolong wear foundation on brides because not to sure in the studio fix with spf. I do buy their mineralized gel for the face and diamond water to hydrate the skin on my brides, but if oily some steps I skip but I use oil free Urban Decay face setter instead of fix plus. One day one I'm going to Australia would love to meet you plus I want to visit the church Hills Hillsong. Thanks for sharing all the goodies ☺️. Love all your tutorials blessings.
