If the figure were so accurate, it could stand on its own without tipping over

will there be a version with lips?

Probably not, PNSO have finally budget in regards to other theropods, but there’s still a reasonable argument for liplessness amongst Spinosaurids, so unless there’s a study on Spinosaurus like the Cullen et Al paper, lipless Spinosaurus is still a possibly

Lipless view is more convincing for at least some spinosaurids because of the interlocking front part of the jaw and also theoretically it would help in fishing a lot more as, even if slightly, reduction of lips does decrease some surface area and allows water to pass between the teeth easier probably helping with biting down inside the water fast
And also because spinosaurids are living around water, especially spinosaurus who by far seems like the most water dependant of the spinosaurids because of the form of it's body, the problem of dry mouth doesn't really exist
But there is to say that lips can vary in close relatives, for example Amazon river dolphins have a normal dolphin lip structure but ganges river dolphin has exposed teeth and obviously they are closely related, so even among spinosaurids you could see such variation

The arguments for theropod lips may very well be obsolete in a couple of years as well. The biggest line of support (crocodilian tooth wear) from the theropod facial integument paper must be discarded. The paper implies that lipless crocodiles have tooth wear that appears to be the result of weathering; however the tooth wear is not uniform to the labial side. The crocodilian teeth that have this wear appears most similar to the teeth (tusks) of hippos, which have flat surfaces due to the tusks striking against each other. Crocodilian teeth also possess this flat surface, which demonstrates the teeth are striking against something, not weathering in the air as suggests. Thomas Carr is also placing his full breakdown of crocodile like facial integument in his "Jane" monograph, so stay tuned for that.

I totally agree, I see it more possible for semi auqatic spinosaurs not having lips bc if they spent most of their time in water I can see why It wouldn't have lips.@@joelww2501
