Have you modified the process at all from your first drones to later ones? I've only heard three,so far, so it's not fueled by any perceived observations,yet... just curious. I live by a major street, so listening to this and the newer Radiohead a couple nights this week helped smooth traffic sounds out, without becoming a rhythm distraction itself...
Troy Palmer Ambient music helped me overcome a severe anxiety disorder that led to insomnia so I'm glad it helps you sleep. No it's been the same process on them all.
The drone versions aren't meant to replace the originals. I'd wager most of the people who listen to these do so under entirely different circumstances/for another purpose than the originals, like drawing or sleeping.
