楊春林：《熱情奏響》「熱情，是理想的引擎、是生命的靈魂」。
《熱情奏響》創作於2003年，全曲以不同風貌傳達強勁的動能，積極又跳動的樂音在各聲部中穿梭，傳統的語彙與新穎的節奏律動巧妙融合，使其奔放、瀟灑又動感。
本曲由A-B-A三段所組成。樂曲開頭以火力四射的節奏帶出A段的熱情主題，高歌於聚光燈之下的音樂，樂句與樂句之中堆疊也對話著，氛圍熱鬧卻不失優雅。B段以吹、拉、彈、打四個不同聲部群分別展現，管樂帶出輕鬆、具有爵士音樂風格的旋律，同時樂句間的連接有如一段興奮不已的探索過程。弦樂的片段在巧妙的對位手法中展現其積極又正面的態度。彈撥樂於複雜的節奏以及變化拍子中跳出一段令人驚豔的炫技舞蹈。最後由打擊樂聲部在排鼓的領奏下以豐富的音響和節奏變化，帶領樂團繼續迎向A段熱情又光明的主題。

Yang Chun-Lin: "Enthusiasm is the engine of of ideality and the spirit of life."
The piece, composed in 2003, manifests dynamism in various musical aspects, penetrating the orchestra with energetic and upbeat music. The exquisite mixture of traditional musical language and refreshing rhythm enrich the work with unrestrained delight and vigor. The structure consists of the A-B-A form. The fiery rhythm initiates the enthusiastic theme in section A - bustling yet elegant. The theme resembles the music resounding under the spotlight and the dialogue responding among overlapping musical phrases. However, section B comprises the show-off passages exclusively for different instrumental sections. Firstly, the wind section renders light and jazzy melodies. Subsequently, the striking counterpoints in the strings section embody the aggressive and cheerful attitude. With complex rhythms and irregular beats, the plucked strings section displays a stunning and dazzling choreography. In the finale, led by the Paigu, the percussion section showcases abundant sonority, directing the orchestra towards the enthusiastic and bright theme in section A.
