Hi Robert how do you go about identifying a good location for billboard especially if you don’t live close by, let’s say you live in Ohio and you want to find anywhere in other states, that’s what I’m trying to learn. Do you have map analyzer of how do you find locations before you decide to go see the place and potential contact owner.

Not much land is required but you need a good line of sight and the right traffic. Lease cost totally depends on your location could be $200/month could be $2,000 or $20,000
If you own the land I would use the land as collateral and get a loan from a local bank to finance the billboard. Make sure to check your zoning code to be sure billboards are allowed on the property and if so check and see how many sq ft it can be.

I was hoping you could give me some insight on the type of contract you use when going into business/leasing with someone and if you use a real lawyer, maybe had one contract written once and now you use it as a template, or if you use a online lawyer system that can generate a contract at will for the price of a subscription. If building it yourself isn’t an option I would hire a small time local contractor. Or even a larger landscaper that’s looking for winter work.
