Amazing video, Saulius. Thank you so much! The speed of delivery is fantastic for someone familiar with the tools, and it really provides a ton of information that can be used immediately.

    Great useful material.
I already have some training, and I really appreciate your style on this video. Thank you!

Excellent video! Really appreciate this kind of content. And a BIG THANK YOU for providing the Model file! It was super helpful for me to navigate what you'd built to understand how and why things worked.

Hi, I want to practice using SysML but I do not know where I can get the tools. I am used to Siemens NX and CATIA...is there a SysML tool that I can get which can easily integrate with Siemens (preferably) and Catia?

Ciatia Magic / Cameo integrates with both and is the most popular and the most powerful solution.

Hi! Thanks for excellent video and explanation.
I have a short question. I have an activity diagram which is a part of a state from statemachine (as a "do" activity) and I want to keep this activity diagram active (like a loop) while the system in the state in which the activity diagram belongs.
I don't want to use loop component because I have almost 10 swimlanes. So I'm looking more simple solution. Do you have any suggestion or video for this issue? So once the activitiy diagram is finished then it needs to be re-run again

Hello. Thank you for the feedback. Great question. One solution is to put another activity which would be ised and do in state with loop. This activity would have only one call behavior action calling your large activity. So loop will not be in your activoty bout it will be restarted from loop above. However you need to think how you will know when to restart, how to know when activity finishes?

I like how you show how to use a requirement as a constraint and the simulation highlights the property in red when the requirement is violated. Why don't constraints work like that? If I create a value type Fingertype with the constraint "(self >=0) and (self

Thank you for this useful video on CST. Is there a way to apply distributions to value properties? For instance, in your state machine example, instead of entry for power being 20 in the ON state, is there a way to show normal distribution with mean power being 20 and variance 5? I read that there is a distributed property, but there aren't any helpful videos or use cases I can find to show how to use this.

Thank you! Absolutely. You can apply normal or uniform stereotype to value property and set tag values. There are other methods please check here - ua-cam.com/video/OB6V3rbJLrA/v-deo.html

How is the AcceptEventAction connected to the data port of the communication block? On the outgoing side you connected the SendSignalAction with the data port of the IR Scanner Block

Hello Thomas. You can you port property on AceptEventAction or skip it, in such case AceptEventAction will get all incoming signals.

I made it almost 3 minutes in and couldn't get the list to find watt... not sure why it's not on the list for me

Is it possible to create a parametric diagram so that we can show Q = 6 where x = 1 - 3, y = 1 -2, and z = 1 - 2. And to show all the possible combinations of this. Almost like a monte carlo simulation. I've been trying to complete this challenge for a while - if anyone has any ideas how this could be done, I would greatly appreciate the help.

Hello, you can try with InterCax Paramagic plugin / product for Cameo as solver.

Hi, i am interested in learning system architecture, converting requirements into architecture. Can you share the best way to learn from scratch any certifications or programs you suggest. Will be great if you have any smart ways to learn.

Hello, yes, major certification is in OMG SysML standard. This is basics of SysML modeling www.omg.org/ocsmp/. Also there is very good systems engineering certification ny INCOSE www.incose.org/certification. For this you will need Incose SE handbook books.google.com/books/about/INCOSE_Systems_Engineering_Handbook.html?id=xSDyCQAAQBAJ&printsec=frontcover&source=kp_read_button&hl=en&newbks=1&newbks_redir=0&gboemv=1&ovdme=1#v=onepage&q&f=false and for an OMG one you will need thise books shop.elsevier.com/books/a-practical-guide-to-sysml/friedenthal/978-0-12-800202-5?country=US&format=print&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiA98WrBhAYEiwA2WvhOkkBjvNP4EUSvQNEb8NEoWMYLW1xezvva6uPA26ivYoNJRFKMdHalxoCr-sQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds and this on www.amazon.com/SysML-Distilled-Systems-Modeling-Language/dp/0321927869/ref=asc_df_0321927869?nodl=1&tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=312060980065&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=4820221130251056605&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9028277&hvtargid=pla-452582134786&psc=1&mcid=24830fbf12c63bf8a8b74b2562b89a9f&gclid=CjwKCAiA98WrBhAYEiwA2WvhOvev35rlJdJN6CLGJ4ELwGehN5Vyln1s0CGSUgsDX9HIsm0fI9oo1xoCV0oQAvD_BwE&dplnkId=d9784d9f-7267-450e-a70c-76375a5f3599
