Bajcetic to Salzburg is a great loan to get him managed, guaranteed playing time for a coach he knows well. This is the most obvious thing that could happen.

Totally agree. He's going to be with a coach who knows him very well. It's important to remember that he's missed almost 18 months of football(He's played less than 25 pro games!) so the loan is crucial for his development. By the time the loan is finished he will still only be 20 and and should be able to take Endo's role in the squad before challenging in a year or 2 for a first team spot. future planning is so important and also creating a direct path way into the first team squad for these youngsters.

Stefan had an injury ten times worse than an ACL, the ligament which connects your two legs directly under ye bum. would make an excellent centre back similar to Thiago Silva, has an excellent football brain.
I am a tad upset that so many LFC fans so eager to drop Endo.
You guys should remember that the UCL league format and playoffs.....will have rival clubs that might be better to use a player like Endo profile....
Too early to draw conclusions but another thing is how slot has been killing the game off in the last 10-15. I could see Endo being used to see the game out at the very least

@@GravelordWrust I agree, they do what’s necessary and avoid being coerced into overpaying, also there’s often a list of options that are kept under wraps, after all they use a sophisticated but successful assessment technique and they don’t want to do it for other teams.

Interesting views…. No issues with selling Carvalho, Sepp and Clark. A bit sad but got good price. This is Endo last year, so Bajcetic is clearly there to replace him. I would be incredibly disappointed in Liv management if they were to loan him with option to buy. He was clearly our best player before injury and that’s not the case with Carvalho, Sepp and Clark. If he were to go to Barca I would be very worried he will be seduced and won’t come back.

I'm happy with this transfer window! We have 2GK,2 RB,2 LB,4 CB,..skipping midfielders for now, 1 RW (now 2 with Chiesa),2 LW and 2 ST (assuming Jota is there and not on the wings).
So about our midfield. Our senior names are Endo,Mac Allister,Jones,Dominic,Elliot,Gravenberch. These are 2 players for each position as is the rest of the squad.
My point is, could we buy a better Endo? Sure! Was it of value? Dunno! Did the player wanted to come? No! So instead of panic buy, we do what Klopp did with so many other players.
Salah wasnt a striker before us! TAA wasnt a RB at the beginning. Fabinho was playing RB on his previous team. And now...Gravenberch is our new number 6. Considering how bad he was last year and how good he is now it feels like a new signing. Yes I would love Zubi but I want my team to make VVD transfers: "It's either him or noone"!
Lastly,the transfer of Chiesa means that Elliot is back on midfield,where is his best position. Let's not be Chelsea please! YNWA!
You do realize we have a smaller squad than last year right? And last year we finished third, and faced an injury crisis that was thankfully saved by youngsters magically turning up. So yeah, fine transfer window if you want to get top four.

surely last year the youngsters helped alot! no denying!We lost Matip sure and we didnt replace him. We lost Thiago,but in all fairness,he was almost always unavailable anyway!He played for 5 mins!Bajcetic was the same! And some of those players have reached an age where you want them to develop.Sitting at a bench wont help them. I assume the Bajcetic loan is an investment for the future. Carvalho? Sepp? Again we didnt have last year as well. For my books we are down a CB and up a RW!
@@alexvoyd1132 so best case scenario is nothing has changed and we're going to accept third place again with salah trent and virgil potentially leaving next season, manager asked for a DM and we didnt give him one just to put all the responsibility on gravenberch who we dont even know is able to maintain this form for the season and his backup being ENDO, someone not suited to what slot wants in his 6, and if we're forced to play mac allister in the 6 then we stop bringing the best out of him.
Tell me what do we do when we face an injury crisis again like last year and years prior when most of our first team is in the hospital and we still have league games, new champions league format, carabao cup and FA cup games to play? Everything you said is acceptable only for a club trying to be in top 4 with financial troubles. We are trying to CHALLENGE FOR THE LEAGUE my friend.
Mark my words, if we manage to be successful this first half of the season it will be IN SPITE of Edwards and Hughes, and Arne Slot had to basically work with no backing. And if we fail the blame partially falls on people like you who allowed this to happen while the club turns Slot into the scapegoat.

Slott style isn't as demanding.
Plus Slot is bringing new tactics etc I'd say more suited to our current playing squad especially midfield who were stifled under klopp regards workhorse roles less creative! So saying we only get 3rd at best shows ignorance. We topped league most of last season!

Honestly Gravenberch in the 6 position with Endo as a DM back-up is something I'm looking forward to. However, I would still sell Endo and get Stiller as our main DM with Gravenberch as a proper DM back-up.
how many matches of stiller have you watched?
Watch Tyler Morton highlights from Hull he's more than capable of getting minutes ,very similar skill set to Gravenbech.
If nobody comes in I can see Morton being kept
@@abdulwadood3123 I watched a few Stuttgart matches with Stiller playing as their usual DM, I was honestly impressed and I think he's one of the few solid DMs that are available. Every other one is already playing for a top team. I wanted Matts Wieffer, I don't know why Liverpool didn't pursue him after they had him on their transfer list for a long period of time.

I'm intrigued to see how the Grav, Sob, Macca midfield develops this season. we bought them all in last season and they all have a year under their belts in the squad now and playing with the other players which should allow to me more comfortable and play better. I also think they will be playing a brand of football that suits their strengths. and then taking in their age range, 21, 23 & 25 they are all a good age range for the long term.

I like how the club is managed and how the transfer policy (Money Ball signings) and how meticulous they are.
With Chiesa in (Our Forward line has 2 players for each position), With Tyler Morton now staying at Liverpool, I am not too worried abt the Midfield (Esp how injury prone Curtis Jones is).
But I am worried about our Centre Back situation. I agree we have four players there but sadly (Konate and Gomez will miss around 10-12 games each) They are injury prone. That's my only concern. Last season we had Matip there so the load was distributed between the 4 CBs and Quansah was bed in. This season if Konate and Gomez picks up a niggle - Quansah and VVD will burn out. With VVD on the wrong end of thirties now, his load should be managed as well so that when we reach the final stretch, he is fresh to compete.
We need atleast a LCB or a LCB/LB hybrid to give VVD a breather. Even if Joe Gomez stays, we still need another CB.

Bajcetic to Salzburg is a no-brainer for me.
He will be nurtured by someone who knows him.
He will be involved in Champions League football. Invaluable experience.
Talent is not the issue with Bajcetic.
He just hasn't morphed from a boy's body yet , thus not ready to handle the rigors of the EPL and 55+ games.
IMHO, he is superior defender to Gravenberch and could cement himself as LFC#6 by next July.
I think Liverpool since being under FSG have been super smart with the business side of the club. Especially believe they have delivered on their promise since they came in. I think Liverpool have been so clever with the player transfers both in and out. I think players like Bajetic need a consistent run of games especially as he's coming back from an injury. Liverpool can't guarantee that amount of minutes so I'm totally fine with loan deals and even selling players with buy back clauses. It's actually quite refreshing to feel super confident in the talent we have on the bench and in the squad.

He’s always late and getting fined. That’s probably a massive part of it. Slot doesn’t like players like that.
Maybe a spell elsewhere will mature him and make him see what he’s at risk of losing.
The lack of depth in the squad is really concerning to me. We are 2 injuries away from playing Szoboslai and Trent as a double pivot and we are also 2 injuries away from having a CB crisis. FSG had the chance this season to give Slot the tools to compete for the league but they have left him short just like they did Klopp multiple times.
Go follow Chelsea, you really don't know anything about football. We have more depth than the Marianna trench FFS. We had 8 players who couldn't even get into the match day squad in first 2 games. You have zero idea. Please, please go follow another club, I'll even chip in a few quid to help you get a season ticket for Chelsea, they don't have a waiting list for tickets like BIG clubs do... FACTS...try it if you don't believe me. Liverpool even have a waiting list to get onto THE waiting list.. also FACT.

I would have loved for Bajcetic to stay and compete but it's best for him to go with Pep and Matos to regain his form and improve his game.
I really really hope he comes back next season and succeed at LFC.
He'll get more games at Salzburg than at Barca, also working with a manager and backroom staff that know him and trust him. What was the point of going to Barca, were if he played, he wouldn't be really tested, because Barca usually dominate most games as they're so good. So a move there would firstly limit his minutes, and the minutes he would get, he wouldn't be fully tested. So going with Salzburg is the best option for him. Can't wait to see this lad's development, as he's top-notch.

Pep is the one who always pushing the academy lads to Klopp.

Well i think its good management. If he hadn't been injured for so long, he probably wouldn't have left. This is a young player who hasn't played a full season yet. Yes he has great potential, but he needs game time, and Liverpool are pretty stacked in midfield. Especially if Morton doesn't leave. He's a perfect example. He played a full season in the Championship and did well. I'm assuming thats helped make Slots decision to keep him( if he does) and let Bajcetic leave. If Bajcetic does well, then he comes back and goes into the squad. Endo will probably leave, so there should be space. For me Bajcetic is the long term 6.
He didn't leave. It's only a loan. Kfor 2 reasons, to get match time in first team and pep L knows him and will follow Liverpool's requests with his development for coming back to us a better player

I think loaning Stefan is a mistake. Before his injury he was our best midfielder. The only consolation is he'll be with Pep Lijnders who I hope manages us in a year or two and Stefan will have learned under him again.

Bajcetic NEEDS this loan, he has missed over a year and has not got back to the level we need. Loan makes sense. We haven't sold the cream young players. Apart from maybe bobby Clark who I think we should have loaned, I back every move we've done. Those kids need playing time. We can't give them enough minutes to develop to level required. Chiesa great buy. Carvalho not good enough. Nor sepp vdb, we still have kids in squad, can't play them all. Perfect owners don't exist. Worse ones DO. Slot will improve us. Yoro wasn't needed nor would he have got any games, he gets game time at ushited. Stefan will be back IF he recovers to his levels. Great loan. Also sepp vdb DIDN'T want to be a 4th choice CB, he wanted to play, fair enough, has to be admired for that, not just about picking up huge wages for nothing, but he wasn't going to be a starter for Liverpool. hes only going on loan, and i think its a great idea to be fair.. he was one of the kids that stood out for me.. but hes a KID and needs more time to develop and get bigger.. we have a good understanding with RB so they will treat the lad well.. and if im not mistaken they are also in the CL this year??

I'm in 2 minds about this one... I woould say we are now short of cover if Endo & Gravenberch get injured * Stefan is young but already proven. Before his injury he was our best midfielder
I was hearing rumours of him being flat out sold, which seemed stupid to me, but if it's just a loan great. He's young, needs to build up his body, so a loan is probably a great move for him, to get him some play time elsewhere.
Could very well see a CB signing as a priority over the DM depending on Gomez leaving or not . I am happy with Endo and Gravenberch for the DM role . There will be a lot of games to play for with 4 comps .

Great. Excellent signing. Bargain. 70m+ player for 12m pounds. How can anyone even question it. Nowhere near the injury record of Pedro NETO who has cost 50/60m. Chiesa has genuine world class ability. He will be great option.👍
