So I understand everyone talking about Theo's crash, and it was a gnarly one. But it grinds my gears the way he reacted by throwing his bike like that. He's like that in real life as well and honestly not a very nice person. Don't have a lot of respect for him. He needs to grow up.
I am in no way at this level of riding, but when I tried wearing armor I realized that it is restrictive and was making me crash more frequently than without. There are so many times on any given ride that I am lightly brushing against trees and plants with my elbows, shoulders, and hips and having the extra bulk of armor turned what is normally an elegant graze into getting knocked off of my line or off the bike completely.
@@minozemstan protective gear spreads the impact not prevents it so youre getting hurt anyways, shoulder will pop out just the same and racers know how to fall and are in very good physical condition so they dont get hurt much...justvas said above restrictive gear limits your range of motion, makes you more tired because of heat and dh lines are all about precision and getting close to trees. Most of racers have mx chest and back protector which is most important, but many dont like wearing elbow pads
One 'Thumbs Down' so far and I bet it was d!ckhead riding his bike down the track with the blown front tire @8:47. I bet the Team Mom loved seeing that. 👍😆

I will never understand, why riders at Cups don't wear full body armor, at least for practice...
